Stevosevic Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 This would be so shit if this happened, so shit.
Nocturnal Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 This thread, the Ishmael Miller thread and the Nile Ranger thread scare the shit out of me.
Dr The Singh Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 This would be so shit if this happened, so shit. I wouldn't worry, more then likely were signing no one on here, Sven is gonna get some one big!!

Tielemans63 Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 I wasn't thrilled when I first heard the news but I guess he did keep the Yak out the team for a while and most city fans would give their left bollock to have the Yak back.

Babylon Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Is this the same paper as the one who said we were signing Derbyshire?
kingfox Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Not going to lie im a Everton supporter aswell as Leicester. Watching Everton on Sky or Online when I can, Anichebe is a player which often frustrates me he can have some very good bursts throughout games but he can be very lacklustre and very very lazy and slow. 3 million is way too much for him, following Everton I can say that his a player I wouldn't want at Leicester and a player who Everton should get rid of but hopefully not to Leicester. He has had some excellent substitute impacts throughout his career, but like I said he can have some very good bursts in games but definitely not a goalscorer and definitely somebody that Leicester shouldn't be looking at.

davieG Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 http://www.evertonda...eems-unlikely/? Leicester City are reported to be considering making a bid for Everton striker Victor Anichebe. The big spending Championship club now managed by Sven are mulling a £3m for the Nigerian international. David Moyes has previously stated that he expects big things of Anichebe this season so it seems unlikely that we'll part company with the 23-year-old, especially for just £3m. Daily Mail The problem at the moment is Everton have very few striking alternatives themselves. They are in a Catch 22 situation as they need to sell to bring in better but can ill afford to let players go so close to the season start. Leicester may offer £3m for Anichebe and that won't be enough just yet. An offer of £5m with guaranteed add-ons may have success before the window closes. MC Prussian Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Absolute comedy, that is possibly the funniest thing I've heard in years. Just another club (& agent) trying to hold us ransom by demanding ridiculously overpriced fees. No, thanks. Rather have Derbyshire on a free. A guy who already has mates playing for us and who'd fit in nicely.
lee7 Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Too lazy in my opinion and whenever i've seen him play for everton he never seems to use his pace to it's full potential and tends to use it at the wrong times also too injury prone for £3 million!

Jollie Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 cant see him being any better that Vassell and he's not the answer to our striker issue...i'd have Louis Saha though
FazzaF Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 I would love Anichebe too sign for us. Not sure how much he is worth mind you. A younger Yakubu, for sure
dannythefox Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 The Yak all day long for me why settle for second best.
FazzaF Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 The Yak all day long for me why settle for second best. I would have yakubu too but his wages are too high. Anichebe has played well for Everton in pre-season though
bluearmyfox23 Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 Tbh as much as i dont like victor anichebe he has scored a few decent goals this pre-season ?
dannythefox Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 I would have yakubu too but his wages are too high. Anichebe has played well for Everton in pre-season though I don't fancy him I thought Moyes said he still had a future at Everton anyway? unlike the Yak.
Jaspa Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 I think it's obvs Sven wants a big black effer to mix it up up front, like QPR did with 'Paddy' Heskey Miller Anichebe Yakubu So I were in for 2 more strikers. 'The one who carnt be spoken of' And 'Big Black Effer'
