HEGGSY Posted 20 December 2011 Posted 20 December 2011 He only scores goals. But he's lazy....what a load of bollox
Dylan Posted 20 December 2011 Posted 20 December 2011 2-1 Yak with the goal, great finish. 9 goals in 10. Why oh why didn't we sign him Because he only scores goals... can't do anything else. Why would we want someone who can only score goals; what would that achieve?
HEGGSY Posted 20 December 2011 Posted 20 December 2011 Because he only scores goals... can't do anything else. Why would we want someone who can only score goals; what would that achieve? 9 in 10 says it all really.
Finchy Posted 20 December 2011 Posted 20 December 2011 Haha some of our fans are clueless, you won't see a more natural finisher than Yakubu, superb striker.
Dylan Posted 20 December 2011 Posted 20 December 2011 Because he only scores goals... can't do anything else. Why would we want someone who can only score goals; what would that achieve? This was sarcastic btw... just in case anyone thinks I'm being serious
HEGGSY Posted 20 December 2011 Posted 20 December 2011 I don't want to turn this into a yakubu thread but...if.were willing to pay beckford 30000+ or whatever was reported, why weren't we willing to do so with the Yak . I miss the Yak
Father Ted Posted 20 December 2011 Posted 20 December 2011 I miss his celebration and his chant as well
Corky Posted 20 December 2011 Posted 20 December 2011 I'm sure the Bolton fans were chanting "Keano give us a wave" and he didn't respond. Come on Steve, you won't get an opportunity to wave at fans again this season.
accessory Posted 21 December 2011 Posted 21 December 2011 9 in 10 says it all really. Except it doesn't. Where are Blackburn in the league?
Libertine Posted 21 December 2011 Posted 21 December 2011 Baffling. Some of the Blackburn fans are a disgrace. They (rightly) want him out but the sheer venom directed at the guy is disgusting. It's a ****ing game for goodness sake.
accessory Posted 21 December 2011 Posted 21 December 2011 We've played a part in the downfall of many City managers, especially in recent years. But there's a time and place for demonstrations against a failing manager, and last night in the middle of a crucial six-pointer wasn't it - even if the local paper had joined the bandwagon. With their next two games at Anfield and Old Trafford, Blackburn's fate could effectively be sealed by the end of the year, whether Kean stays or not.
chili_con_carne Posted 21 December 2011 Posted 21 December 2011 Swear I heard fans sing, 'hitler whats the score'
Brown Fox Posted 21 December 2011 Posted 21 December 2011 Genuinely felt sorry for Kean today. He is truly now in a sunken ship. Nothing he can do will change the fans minds. The fans today were an absolute disgrace. Forget about protesting until after the match, don't infect the whole team with a negative vibe from the start and that's what they did. When that 2nd went in and fans were just surging down the aisles in anger spewing hate and even after the match in the posh stand at least 30 people sprinted down to shout abuse at him. He really needs to go now.
AjcW Posted 21 December 2011 Posted 21 December 2011 He really doesn't have an argument, if he was a decent person and was being affected by this chanting he would of resigned! It's clear that he is not particularly fussed about the club or his career as he is still there.
Finchy Posted 21 December 2011 Posted 21 December 2011 Except it doesn't. Where are Blackburn in the league? Are you real? Have you seen the goals Blackburn are letting in? That is why they are down there, not Yakubu.
Fox92 Posted 21 December 2011 Posted 21 December 2011 Feeling sorry for Steve Kean now. I know Blackburn are now bottom, and he is manager, but every time Blackburn loose the ball, never mind concede, the Blackburn fans just boo. I can understand their anger, but it must be so hard working whilst people are souting for you to be out. Those Indian owners don't seem to care much either. Come on Steve, you won't get an opportunity to wave at fans again this season. Apart from when he is waving goodbye to the Blackburn fans...
leicesterisme Posted 21 December 2011 Posted 21 December 2011 It'd be ok if Blackburn fans were actually a loud bunch who gets behind their team vocally but they don't. Last night was the first time I've ever heard Ewood park so loud!
Finchy Posted 21 December 2011 Posted 21 December 2011 It's not like it's just started happening either, they've been on his back since the start of the season. I'm not sure how the players are meant to put in effort when they are like that from the start. They actually played some great football at the start of the season too, they were very unlucky in a lot of games.

They actually played some great football at the start of the season too, they were very unlucky in a lot of games. Yeah, that is true. It's like they never even liked him to begin with - when I watch Blackburn on the tv, it is like, they want the opposition team to score, so that they can get their banners and all that out on display. Like you said though, I don't know how he and his players can perform when Ewood Park is like it is.
ajthefox Posted 21 December 2011 Posted 21 December 2011 Except it doesn't. Where are Blackburn in the league? Hope for your own sake you're just wumming
VinceNoir Posted 21 December 2011 Posted 21 December 2011 From Sky Sports Facebook feed: "The Crown Prosecution Service has confirmed Chelsea's John Terry will be charged with racially abusing Anton Ferdinand. More on site soon"
Corky Posted 21 December 2011 Posted 21 December 2011 Only trips to Liverpool and Man Utd before the New Year to come for Keano's Army.
Jimothy Posted 21 December 2011 Posted 21 December 2011 I feel sorry for Kean in the sense that he's taken a opportunity that given half a chance, none of us would turn down. But I also feel sympathy for the Blackburn fans, probably more than Kean. I can totally see where they are coming from. Blackburn were 13th in the table and enjoying a decent season under one of the most experienced and respected managers in this country. The Venky's came in, sacked Allardyce and replaced him with someone with no managerial experience whatsoever. Now I could understand the need for a new direction if they were struggling, but they weren't. Kean's appointment saw a dramatic loss of form which saw them only just survive relegation. Now a year on they find themselves bottom of the league, when a year ago they were mid-table, so they have certainly gone backwards, having won just 11 games in 44 under Kean. They must have been frustrated to lose Allardyce, who seemed to be moving the club in the right direction, to see him replaced by this joker. They must be even more frustrated to see him keep his job despite all his failings when they sacked Allardyce without a second thought. People talk like Kean took over some crisis club and he's been against it since the start, but he really hasn't, he took over a decent team and turned them shit. If it was happening here I'd have my banner out.
