Fox92 Posted 13 December 2011 Posted 13 December 2011 Darren Fletcher is taking an "extended break" from football. http://news.bbc.co.u...ll/16165953.stm Sounds quite ill. Never liked him as a player nor his attitude on the pitch, but needless to say hope he makes a full recovery. Just read that, won't play again this season! Must be very ill, hope he gets better.

Never liked him as a player nor his attitude on the pitch, but needless to say hope he makes a full recovery. Always thought that he'd be shipped out of Man United but he's just the sort of player they're missing at the minute. Happy to get stuck in and seems to come up with the goods every season.
Narborough_fox Posted 13 December 2011 Posted 13 December 2011 R.I.P Darren Fletcher He's not dead, he's got a stomach illness and will probably return next year.
Narborough_fox Posted 13 December 2011 Posted 13 December 2011 Wait, what? I've had a 'mare haven't I.
StanSP Posted 13 December 2011 Posted 13 December 2011 Wait, what? I've had a 'mare haven't I. Well, you're correct, he isn't dead. But the article mentioned how rest was needed for him and was quite important coupled with the fact Fletcher and his family have asked for privacy to reduce stress. Unless the guy actually thought he might end up dying...
lcfcadam Posted 13 December 2011 Posted 13 December 2011 Wait, what? I've had a 'mare haven't I. No you were right! That exchange of posts just made me laugh that's all!

"It follows an investigation into cars damaged on Stowell Street in Newcastle city centre which happened about 10pm on 6 December. "The two men have been bailed." What a pair of idiots! Have they got nothing better to do with their time?
shen Posted 16 December 2011 Posted 16 December 2011 What a pair of idiots! Have they got nothing better to do with their time? Oh Nicklas Hope for his sake he isn't found guilty. What a great example to set for his kid too...
MikeyT Posted 18 December 2011 Author Posted 18 December 2011 Rooney scores after 52 seconds. QPR 0-1 Man United.
ScouseFox Posted 18 December 2011 Posted 18 December 2011 Liverpool looking decent at a relatively poor Villa. 2-0 up so far.
ScouseFox Posted 18 December 2011 Posted 18 December 2011 Suarez hit the post and the bar. Cantona esque chip for the second, just bounced the wrong way off the post.
Corky Posted 18 December 2011 Posted 18 December 2011 Villa are terrible. Liverpool should've had more, Suarez unlucky with two efforts. Shelvey looks a decent little player.
Matt Posted 18 December 2011 Posted 18 December 2011 Villa have been awful, losing 0-2 flatters Villa. C'mon City in the next game And today it's not just cos' I hate Arsenal, I've bet on City.
MikeyT Posted 18 December 2011 Author Posted 18 December 2011 Not really a fan of either team, but hope Man City stuff Arsenal.
VinceNoir Posted 18 December 2011 Posted 18 December 2011 It's been a breathtaking first half! Both teams attacking, very entertaining to watch and a great advert for the PL It's only missing goals really.
Matt Posted 18 December 2011 Posted 18 December 2011 What a surprise, Arsenal go 1-0 down and the games turns dirty. Coincidence?
