purpleronnie Posted 4 March 2012 Posted 4 March 2012 Dempsey really should have been playing for a bigger club.
Tielemans63 Posted 4 March 2012 Posted 4 March 2012 'Arry has made some strange selection decisions in the last two games. Sandro and Livermore up against Scholes and Carrick? No wonder they got gubbed.

I thought that. Modric is so effective in the middle, thought he should have left him in there and put Krancjar outwide, or even Dos Santos.
Tielemans63 Posted 4 March 2012 Posted 4 March 2012 Wolves just ripped to pieces again. Now Fulham 5-0 Wolves. I always look forward to the Wolves highlights when I see the name STEARMAN in the starting line-up. He's pure comedy is Richard, slapstick defending ahoy!
ScouseFox Posted 4 March 2012 Posted 4 March 2012 Liverpool were incredibly close to signing Young for around 16 million from Villa. United nipped in, and Liverpool got Downing for 20 million instead. KING KENNY

Lovejoy Posted 5 March 2012 Posted 5 March 2012 Lee Cattermole is poor imo. Not a proper hard man, more of a thug who has to compensate for his lack of talent.

davieG Posted 8 March 2012 Posted 8 March 2012 Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has confirmed his interest in Arsenal's Robin van Persie, but believes the striker will remain with the Gunners. The 28-year-old, who has scored 32 goals this season, is out of contract in 2013 and has put talks over a new deal on hold until the summer. "We are interested in good players," Mancini said. "I think all the good teams are interested in Van Persie. "He is a fantastic striker but I think he will remain with Arsenal." City signed Samir Nasri from Arsenal last summer and have also recruited Gael Clichy,Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Adebayor from the Gunners in recent years. Van Persie joined Arsenal from Feyenoord in 2004 and, after a number of injury-plagued seasons, he has been prolific sincesucceeding Cesc Fabregas as captain in August. "I think if there is a good player who wants to leave a club, then we are interested," Mancini explained. "I think Van Persie at this moment is one of the best strikers in Europe with [Lionel] Messi, [Cristiano] Ronaldo, Sergio [Aguero] and Mario [balotelli]. "But if this player wants to stay, we don't have any problem. In my opinion, Van Persie will stay at Arsenal." Full story - http://www.bbc.co.uk...otball/17296185

Finnegan Posted 8 March 2012 Posted 8 March 2012 What a brilliant signing Podolski is for Arsenal for ten million. You compare that to the fees paid for Torres and Carrol and it's unbelievable. Top player.
StanSP Posted 8 March 2012 Posted 8 March 2012 Definitely. I'm hoping it goes some way to persuading RVP to stay at Arsenal, too. Front three of Podolski/RVP/Walcott (or AOC) doesn't look too shabby. Arsenal have picked up a real bargain for a top quality player.
marko Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 QPR denied a clear goal by one of the worst goal line decision by a lino. The ball was so far over the keeper's gloves were nearly rubbing on the back of the net when he saved it.
HEGGSY Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 That lino had an absolute mare then. It was at least 2 yards over
