Corky Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 I don't mean to be Scousist, but I couldn't understand most of the songs sung tonight.
ScouseFox Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 I don't mean to be Scousist, but I couldn't understand most of the songs sung tonight. Everton just repeat "fvck off to Norway, the city's all ours!!" And Liverpool just sing "you two faced bastards, your captain's a manc!" Oh and you'll never walk alone.
StanSP Posted 14 March 2012 Posted 14 March 2012 Everton were just shite tonight. No fight, no passion, no desire to win one of the biggest games of the season. Probably disheartened with the squad selection, but still, the 11 who started who unbelievably lacklustre. Not the first time I've seen that from a team in blue.
accessory Posted 14 March 2012 Posted 14 March 2012 Strange team selection by Moyes. Why did he make so many changes from the team that beat Spurs? The result will not help the team's confidence in preparation for the Sunderland game. Losing that will effectively end Everton's season.

Probably has more of an eye on the match with Sunderland at the weekend. Didn't go down too well with Evertonians though. Confidence would have been shattered, but going in to a match where the reward is a match at Wembley should be enough of an incentive to get their asses back in to gear.
FrankieADZ Posted 14 March 2012 Posted 14 March 2012 When I look at the premier league table, I always have to look at Arsenal and wonder where they'd be without RVP this season.. ...Up Sh*t street. he's scored over half there goals...never a good sign imo.

Arsenal have scored 57 league goals, of which RVP has scored 26. He's scored 45.6% of their league goals, not quite half. And not much more reliant on him than Barcelona are Messi. They've scored 75 league goal, of which he's got 30, meaning he's scored 40%.
Guest ttfn Posted 14 March 2012 Posted 14 March 2012 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17374070 It's people like this that give English football a bad name. Given his track record, it's an utter disgrace that he's let anywhere near any kind of high-level football conference, let alone open his mouth.

Wasn't he just expressing publicly how many of us feel anyway? Surely no one on here holds FIFA or UEFA in anything other than deep hatred?
shen Posted 14 March 2012 Posted 14 March 2012 Wasn't he just expressing publicly how many of us feel anyway? Surely no one on here holds FIFA or UEFA in anything other than deep hatred? I'm just wondering how on Earth a bid could cost as much as the figure he states. And he comes across as a self-righteous pr*ck if you ask me. The hipocrisy of his comments makes my eyes water.
Guest ttfn Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 Wasn't he just expressing publicly how many of us feel anyway? Surely no one on here holds FIFA or UEFA in anything other than deep hatred? Saying that "they stole the game" is colonialist bollocks and is hardly going to help the FA or anyone else make their point. The FA currently have a number of extremely valid grievances with FIFA (and to a lesser extent UEFA), and making ridiculous statements like that is only going to take credibility away from the FA. It adds more fuel to FIFA's fire of saying "you just can't handle that you're not in charge any more". Which I think for most fans (and the FA) is nonsense - we just want to see a transparent governing body.
HEGGSY Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 Swansea are superb and have made a real impression this year.
Tielemans63 Posted 18 March 2012 Posted 18 March 2012 Wolves now bottom lol Another defensive masterclass from Richard Stearman. I'm actually starting to feel sorry for him, he seems to get torn a new one every week and Wolves always seem to be one of the featured teams!
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 19 March 2012 Posted 19 March 2012 The standard of the Prem is probably even worse than last year, promoted teams now have a good chance of staying up without spending a wad of cash. Man Utd by their standards have one of the weakest squads I can remember yet they are still top.
FrankieADZ Posted 20 March 2012 Posted 20 March 2012 so Chelsea have sacked Jacob Mellis for setting off a smoke grenade at there training ground...I wouldnt mind him at Leicester thought he did well against us when he was on loan at Barnsley...scored against us too if im right sign him up
accessory Posted 20 March 2012 Posted 20 March 2012 Considering what Ashley Cole and others have got away with while at Chelsea, Mellis can consider himself a little unlucky. He looked a decent midfielder during his time at Barnsley, but I doubt Pearson will want to deal with any more attitude issues.
Wycombe Fox Posted 20 March 2012 Posted 20 March 2012 15 goals for Yakubu so far this season. Lazy ****er
AjcW Posted 20 March 2012 Posted 20 March 2012 Only plus from watching this game for sunderland tonight... ..James McClean.... What a player that boys going to be :appl:
Wycombe Fox Posted 20 March 2012 Posted 20 March 2012 He only scores goals. I bet he'd be over 20 goals for us this season if we'd have been able to keep him.
Lovejoy Posted 20 March 2012 Posted 20 March 2012 Only plus from watching this game for sunderland tonight... ..James McClean.... What a player that boys going to be :appl: I'm surprised the press haven't linked him with a bugger club yet, does seem a great talent. Quite an old fashioned winger who likes to get at his man and put a ball in the box.
