I would also like to share the relentless optimism shown by some, but I am old, cynical & have been a city fan for too long to take anything for granted......I was young, gullible & never did quite get over Johan Cruyff not wanting to come to Leicester. Cruyff was mad, but hopefully this guy is completely insane. It would be great to be proven wrong on this occasion & on several more occasions during August

s11nny Posted 15 August 2011 Posted 15 August 2011 didnt really know too much about him. thought id check out youtube to see what he is capable of. seems to me like he was up there as one of valencia's best players before he got injured! hes another one of those hargreaves / johnson / woodgate players who have been unfortunate due to injuries. i doubt he will ever recover his old form but may still do some serious damage in the championship, just hopefully not to himself.
