We are going all out, shit or bust on this one now. I'm yet to hear whether a bid has actually gone in, but there is no chance of it happening before the Southampton game. Maynard has not even had a medical here, so he can't have failed it, and if it does come to him having a medical he won't fail it. As you all already know, the bid is going to be in the region of £6-6.5m, with add ons. I know I said I wouldn't post in here again, but there's some decent people on here and I'm feeling kind. This makes sense now. The reason the bid hasn't gone in/been confirmed by the media yet is because it looks like Bristol City have spent the week deciding what they are willing to accept. They'll want a new striker in too, so they might be looking in to that before agreeing to sell, which ties in with the Le Fondre rumours. Interesting. I hope this saga is finally over come Monday.

Sven always said a prolific striker was his last piece in the jigsaw. If.....we complete this, then I think we have cause to be optimistic.........or have I had too much Rioja?
