Yeah, hate people with massive post counts. Wankers, run around like they own the place, anyone would of thought they were moderators or something.

You are a willy puller Manny but not because of your big post count :sweating:

"Rumour" leaves the door open for him to say, "well I did say it was a rumour".

Bablyon holding the flag for the FT skeptics as always. Don't worry, I'm one of you. ;)

I think he's a decent source of info, but he's not been 100% correct. So everyone should question it!!

Not seen him wrong yet, other than the agent-led bullshit surrounding Routledge

I can't think of them off hand, be he has definitely got a few other bits wrong. I would certainly say at this moment in time he's out best source of info though.

Wasn't he saying that Bamba had been sold to Blackburn as well as Bert? There's definitely reliable info there but you just can't take anything as gospel which a lot of people on here seem to.

The Gospel: a collection of opinions and conjecturer written several hundred years after a supposed event to suit contemporary political objectives by people who were not at the actual event and did not know the people involved.

Sounds about right!

Old news is it not.

Today's date on the article and it says a fourth bid rejected. The fourth was allegedly going in this week wasn't it?

Brizzle fans are starting to think The Black Cats are gunna get him.

Because Steve Bruce said he wants to get a striker in before September.

They've really been doing my nutt in the whole saga.

No chance he's not going to buy two championship strikers!

Another striker? seems unlikely as they've already bought in a few so far- crazy wurzels

Yeah, but he said 'A Striker'

Popped up on Bbc tranny reel thingy.

And they automaticly assume it's Nicky he's hot on the heels of.

Fkin madness

No premiership club would risk buying 2 championship strikers for that amount of money in one summer, they'll go for Sturridge on loan.

They said an informal bid was rejected (that may have been Neville asking them their price as Bert said) and that we will table a final offer.

It doesn't say that the bid we are talking about has been rejected.

Besides, like most papers they can just print half-truths and lies that no one can disprove, so the latest rejected bid being this week is probably bull.

Don't quite think that's what he was getting at.

I understand that he wasnt saying we should sign Forlan . I dont understand why hes comparing the two when each players circumstances are completly different. A better comparison would be Shane Long who is not as good as maynard, was more expensive, and isnt as proven as maynard.

Read the posts properly, it's quite clearly tongue in cheek.
