I remember saying in one of the many Maynard threads and saying a striker was our priority, blah, blah, blah, someone can't remember in which Maynard thread, can't remember who replied but they basically said 'no, defence was our priority, and Sven has sorted that'. Has he?

Just thought I'd throw a plus point in there somewhere. i think we're on our own here, it's incredible how quickly people forget how well we played for the first half, why do some people think that southampton had no right to get right back into that game.... we are still learning and gelling, and must have been terrified of surrendering a lead and still not winning at home. i'm fucking ecstatic

21st Century Fox Posted 27 August 2011 Posted 27 August 2011 Although I'll admit it wasn't a convincing victory, I'm willing to see the positives, that we now have a team thats able to fight to keep a lead against a decent, in-form team. Its one of the things that would have made the difference between where we finished and a play off place last season. So on that note.....
