MikeyT Posted 27 August 2011 Posted 27 August 2011 3 points. A home win. Great performance first half. Changed formation, not as good, obviously. Nerve wracking end...again. Too many goals conceded again though. Discuss.
Guest Posted 27 August 2011 Posted 27 August 2011 The moaners will continue to moan even though we've won 3pts and scored 3 goals.
Libertine Posted 27 August 2011 Posted 27 August 2011 At last. But Sven, I've always been fully behind you, but for f-cks sake, what were you playing at today? Ridiculous decision.
Raw Dykes Posted 27 August 2011 Posted 27 August 2011 My heart just took a punishing. GET IN!! 3 points!! At home!! Against the league leaders!!! An easy win next time, please, Sven.
Rincewind Posted 27 August 2011 Posted 27 August 2011 You can stop tearing your hair and teeth out now.
sdb Posted 27 August 2011 Posted 27 August 2011 PHEW. So much for a defence that will concede less than last seasons. Still, a valuable win, but we shudda put it to bed. I'll have had a heart attack by May if this is the way we're gonna do things.
Charl91 Posted 27 August 2011 Posted 27 August 2011 The moaners will continue to moan even though we've won 3pts and scored 3 goals. Seriously, go away. You moan more about people moaning then the people complaining in the first place!
MikeyT Posted 27 August 2011 Author Posted 27 August 2011 God bless Kasper with those 3 saves in fairly quick succession.
MC Prussian Posted 27 August 2011 Posted 27 August 2011 Defense is a shambles, nerves got to the team in the second half. Sven chances the formation from 4-4-2 back to the erratic 4-3-3??? WTF? That took the whole momentum out of our play and we played much worse in the second 45 minutes. Thank f"ck for Kasper Schmeichel who parried three good shots towards the end of the game, it could've well ended 4-3 for the Saints. Nugent out (hopefully not for too long). Now we really need a striker - Maynard come off injured today or what? Happy about three points but really pissed off about the way we let Southampton back into the game, especially at home. Now... did Seabourne receive two yellows or not???
21st Century Fox Posted 27 August 2011 Posted 27 August 2011 I'm glad we managed to hold on. I can only think Sven deliberately did that to get them digging in as a team...... yeah yeah thats it.
Jaspa Posted 27 August 2011 Posted 27 August 2011 Thank fook I kept that bottle balanced on my knee from them scoring their second. Superstitious Finally! We held a lead, but please don't do that again lads. My prediction score was right aswell btw
MC Prussian Posted 27 August 2011 Posted 27 August 2011 The moaners will continue to moan even though we've won 3pts and scored 3 goals. We played shit in the second half. That's got nothing to do with moaning, unless you see something positive with almost throwing a win away (again).
Ron Combo Posted 27 August 2011 Posted 27 August 2011 Honestly. Where did that 5 mins added time come from? A sodding joke. Good win, hanging on like that but for us chaps of a certain age...mamma mia!
Lillehamring Posted 27 August 2011 Posted 27 August 2011 Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss say what you like about the changes - it worked, we won....
SpartakAnj Posted 27 August 2011 Posted 27 August 2011 A good sign that we could grind out a win like that. But the back four need to start gelling, we can't keep conceding 2 goals every home game!! Credit to Kasper for a quality performance today after last weeks disaster
