shen Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 He was very influential on the game today. Loved his involvement in the fourth goal. Yakubus pass to Olsson from the halfway line, Olsson sprinted down the wing and into the box from the by-line and Yakubu was already in the box waiting for the ball in a great position. Would have been excellent if the pass found Yak and he scored instead of the own goal. Loved his finish for the first aswell.
dannythefox Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 He wanted Premiership and he's got it good luck to him.
Jon25747 Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 Still can't believe some people didn't want him
lcfcsnow Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 Just completed his hat-trick, making Alan Young look even more of a berk
John Matrix Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 Much rather have Nugent. he'd be instead of beckford not nugent u pleb
Jon25747 Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 Much rather have Nugent. Nugent would never score 4 goals in a premiership game
topharry123 Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 He's certainly making our owners not stupid for not stumping up the cash. If there was one player we should have broke the bank for its him and by the looks of things we're going to regret it come the end of the season.
Father Ted Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 Yak scoring 4 in the Prem... Vitor playing for Benfica at Old Trafford... Well played Sven
Master Fox Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 Leicester fans living in the past shocker!!!!!
ScouseFox Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 I love Yakubu. He was class here and is, seemingly, still putting in performances for bottom placed Blackburn. Got his tenth, yes TENTH goal in the Premier League today, for pretty much the worst team.

Kitchandro Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 So if he's comepletely useless for the next 4 or 5 games is it still important that he got a bunch in one game? Yakubu's problem wasn't quality, it was consistency. He couldn't perform game after game and in half of them he may as well have not been there. Beckford hasn't been good at all but I don't miss Yakubu.
Finnegan Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 Yak scoring 4 in the Prem... Vitor playing for Benfica at Old Trafford... Well played Sven Was it not made perfectly clear about ten THOUSAND times that Benfica rated Vitor and didn't want to sell?
The Doctor Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 Yak scoring 4 in the Prem... Vitor playing for Benfica at Old Trafford... Well played Sven Firstly Sven has gone, change the ****ing record. Secondly all reports suggested that the owners didn't want to break the bank for the Yak.
MC Prussian Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 No matter where he plays, you can't but love a bit of Yakubu. Loved his stint with us and genuinely hope he gets the Golden Boot at the end of this season. He may be lazy, but he does one thing so well... scoring goals.
Guest NGoloMode Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 Firstly Sven has gone, change the ****ing record. Secondly all reports suggested that the owners didn't want to break the bank for the Yak. Really? I thought it was Yak that said no to us. He wanted Prem football.

The Doctor Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 Really? I thought it was Yak that said no to us. He wanted Prem football. I thought it was he said no to what we were offering but the owners refused to go any higher? Regardless of which it was - the point is that not signing the Yak wasn't down to Sven.
Father Ted Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 Was it not made perfectly clear about ten THOUSAND times that Benfica rated Vitor and didn't want to sell? No, I'm implying that I'm still in disbelief that Vitor scored twice at Scunthorpe, had a stormer and Sven dropped him for Bruma - who is of course... bench warming at Hamburg who are 15th in the Bundesliga.

Anybody could've scored at Scunthorpe that day, they were one of the worst sides last season and deservedly went down. Bruma wasn't so bad, he scored twice against Watford. And two rather spectacular goals. Remember?
