Bugg Posted 21 September 2011 Posted 21 September 2011 In all seriousness, anyone know if this kid is any good?
I am Rod Hull Posted 21 September 2011 Posted 21 September 2011 "You were only supposed to blow the bloody doors off!"
wellyfox Posted 21 September 2011 Posted 21 September 2011 More to the point how can we sign him out of the window.
lcfc22 Posted 21 September 2011 Posted 21 September 2011 I think this is a good sign from the Thais that they're not just a short term project but building for the future.
21st Century Fox Posted 21 September 2011 Posted 21 September 2011 The biggest injustice ever. Ok the financial points. But deducting points for transfer irregularities was so wrong as those that had commited the crimes had left. Kick a club thats down fvcking FA. Hope he fulfills all the ad on's as well for them and us. :scarf: To be fair they couldn't exactly let them off without opening a massive loop hole for other clubs to mismanage as they please and then have a boardroom clear out to get themselves off the hook.
Raw Dykes Posted 21 September 2011 Posted 21 September 2011 More to the point how can we sign him out of the window. I'm pretty sure you can still buy and sell players outside the window, but the player has to stay with the selling club until the next window opens. This happens with players in the last year of their contract a lot.
Fox92 Posted 21 September 2011 Posted 21 September 2011 Anybody know how old he is then? It doesn't indicate anything within that article on the Luton website.

On the money side yes and i agree but the transfer iregularaties no. all the bad went when it fell into admin and the new got punished for the crooked dealings. So had Pierpoint and the crew had some dodgey deals on the transfer market it would have been ok to punish lineaker and the others that saved the club. Come on lets be real suspended point deduction or fine but 20pts **** lets be real.
The Doctor Posted 21 September 2011 Posted 21 September 2011 More to the point how can we sign him out of the window. If he's under 18 he can move clubs at any time I think - the fee we would pay would just be a compensation package but youth contracts can move clubs at any time as far as I'm aware.
MC Prussian Posted 21 September 2011 Posted 21 September 2011 Very neat. Must we sit through any more of this torture? I've got a lot of things to do.
funkyrobot Posted 21 September 2011 Posted 21 September 2011 In all seriousness, anyone know if this kid is any good? He did well in 'Escape To Victory. Captained the side, managed to get a decent performance from Stallone in goal, scored a goal himself and he escaped with the rest of the Allied lads at the end! Hope he's still got it but he must be getting on a bit as that game against the Nazis was back in the 40's.

brookfox Posted 21 September 2011 Posted 21 September 2011 How old is this guy? Read somewhere he's a 16 year old midfielder.
Rincewind Posted 21 September 2011 Posted 21 September 2011 no pictures yet of Michael Cain junior or senior
wolfgang amadeus Posted 21 September 2011 Posted 21 September 2011 Read somewhere he's a 16 year old midfielder. Cheers couldn't find it.

funkyrobot Posted 21 September 2011 Posted 21 September 2011 What amazed me about the game from where this photo was taken, was that The Allies team, though playing in occupied Paris, during World War 2 and against a German Nazi side, managed to field a significant number of The 1980-81 Ipswich Town squad. One of the mysteries of World War 2 I guess.
MPH Posted 22 September 2011 Posted 22 September 2011 I hope he doesnt shoot until he can see the whites in their eyes..
Danno Posted 10 October 2012 Posted 10 October 2012 What's happened to him? He's on twitter going on about how he's lucky to be here and everyone's saying get well soon?
Leicester_Numan Posted 11 October 2012 Posted 11 October 2012 How old is this guy? It was in the article, he's been at the club since he was 12 and he'd been there for 4 years.

One of the mysteries of World War 2 I guess. Just as mysterious as having Rambo in goal. Also I'm pretty sure Pele returning to the field of play after being subbed for injury contravenes the laws of the game and makes the allies victory null and void.
ramadaone Posted 11 October 2012 Posted 11 October 2012 What's happened to him? He's on twitter going on about how he's lucky to be here and everyone's saying get well soon? Involved in a nasty car crash where a lorry over turned on the motorway but him and his girlfriend are ok Apparently after his performances in the 21's he is close to getting in the first team squad which I think is maybe a bit optamistic but with Wellens and Gally gone I suppose he's not that far off especially if Danns is out of favour
