Happy Fox Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Only change is Johnson replacing Fernandes.
martyn Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Would have liked Danns in for Wellens or Abe. Think we'll nick it 2-1.
Happy Fox Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Team is: City: Schmeichel, Peltier, Konchesky, Mills ©, Bamba, King, Johnson, Wellens, Abe, Vassell, Beckford Subs: Weale, Pantsil, Fernandes, Danns, Schlupp I am surprised Nugent isn't on the bench suppose reason being is that he is being primed for a start on Saturday.
Chazwaz Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Wow didn't expect that, hopefully Johnson shows us what he''s made of!
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Gah, would've liked to have seen Wellens benched. Won't complain about the inclusion of Johnson, though, fingers crossed he puts a shift in tonight.
shiv Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Disappointed Wellens has started, but hopefully he'll make up for his poor performance on Sunday. Strong team again and hopefully Johnson has a good game.
Ric Flair Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Invincible Wellens, just whacked a tenner on him to score
Kent Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Really hope Johnno has a good game without injury, for him and us. Even from the glimpses I've seen of him he's got obvious quality and composure on the ball.
Libertine Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Beckford to bag his first from a crisp Johnson through ball.
Simmo86 Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Wellens Glad to see Johnson getting a start though!
Master Fox Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Oh bloody hell......WELLENS! F *cking hell
jonthefox Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Draw 1-1. ps, i thought nugent was back for tonights game ?.
Thracian Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 No Dyer - I really find that so hard to understand. Because when we come under sustained pressure we have no-one who can break forward quickly. Seems to me we're intent on smothering their attacks and trying to pinch a goal, much like on Sunday. Apart from Schlupp I can't say the bench looks in any way exciting. Hope I'm wrong but the best i can see is a 1-1 draw and if I had to commit money it would be 2-1 to Boro.
davieG Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 They're unbeaten at home albeit mostly draws we're unbeaten away albeit mostly draws, by all accounts it'll be a draw then.
Libertine Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 They're unbeaten at home albeit mostly draws we're unbeaten away albeit mostly draws, by all accounts it'll be a draw then. They're unbeaten totally. Bout time that changed.
Simmo86 Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 So pleased Fernandes isn't in. Must be glad your man crush is playing?
Fox92 Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Must be glad your man crush is playing? Why has Steven Gerrard signed?
Anish Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Can't see anything other than a Leicester defeat I'm afraid. No real attacking options on the bench other than Schlupp. Beckford needs to do something this game otherwise the fans will start turning on him soon.
