It's taking too long and I'm bored with the silly comments being expressed.

Is it? A week or two is fairly standard, people need to stop being so impatient.

My mates brother works in the Marriot in Leicester. My mate text me last night saying Mark Hughes was there along with 3 other people(he didn't know who the other 3 were) could he be our next manager? :)

Believe it, don't believe it but don't shoot the messenger.

This thread makes me want to trudge back a few years and read the endless horse shit that was posted after Megson left us, I think we were on the verge of appointing about 18 different managers before Worzel got the gig.

Oh look, another bullshit report that once again puts words into someones mouth.

Freedman - I'm going nowhere

Dougie Freedman has dismissed speculation linking him with the manager's job Leicester City.

The Crystal Palace boss is one of a host of names linked to the post following Sven-Goran Eriksson's sacking by Leicester.

Palace have enjoyed an impressive start to the season and Freedman is adamant he is focused on continuing his work at Selhurst Park.

Freedman said: "It's a rumour. It's speculation.

"I am very happy at Crystal Palace. I took over nine months ago and hopefully there's a long way left in this job.

"Speculation comes along, it comes with a lot of my younger players as well and I tell them to focus.

"So that's exactly what I'll be doing, focusing on my job here. I've got a difficult job to take the club forward here and that's what I'm trying to do."

Can someone tell me where he says "i'm going nowhere"?

Just noticed on oddschecker Ladbrokes have (Hamilton manager) at 6/1 third favourite.

I'm sure there's nowt in it, still looking like a two horse race between Clark and Hughes. (unless i've missed something which is probable seeing as I haven't read through any threads for a while  )

Keep an eye on SSN for an announcement about a press conference at the KP shortly.

Break from football my arse. I know your little game Mr. Brougham.

Steve Brougham quits Brading Town

Steve Brougham has resigned from Brading Town.

The news was announced earlier today (Monday) on the club’s official website, a statement saying he wished to take a break from football.

Brougham’s departure comes after the club’s worst defeat in three seasons, after they lost 6-1 away to promoted Downton.

Last season was Brading’s most successful ever, with a fourth-place finish in the Premier Division of the Sydenhams Wessex League, but this season the side has struggled to recreate that form and they currently lie 14th with five wins from 13 games.

Brougham has denied local speculation linking him to the vacant post at Championship side, Leicester City.

Steve Lawton will act as a caretaker manager until a suitable replacement is found.

Latest odds on Paddy Power;

Lee Clark 5/6

Mark Hughes 6/4

Billy Davies 8/1

Steve Brougham 8/1

Gordon Strachan 9/1

Peter Taylor/Junior Lewis Dream Team 14/1

Kevin Keegan 9/1

Roy Keane 11/1

Martin O'Neill 12/1

Karl Robinson 18/1

Rafael Benitez 18/1

Neil Lennon 20/1

Ole Gunnar Solksjaer 25/1

Roberto Di Matteo 25/1

I'd like to see Ole Gunnar Solksjaer a big risk I know but so would any manager.

But I think it will be one of either Hughes, Clark or Davies.
