It seems Thursday COULD be the day #lcfc get their new boss. Would personally rule out Clark.

Strange old world! A couple of days ago he posted that City were gonna make an official approach for Clark the next day.

Been told Clark may be some sort of disguise, for whatever reason that may be. Don't know who the new man will be just yet.

Why would Clark be a disguise for Pearson, something fishy MON

Take your puck from Hughes, Keane, Davies, Grant, Pearson. Personal view is Pearson won't be returning.

hope his personal view is acutally right....

It must be a disguise that is fooling the bookies, can't get abover 1.5 on any site now and Huges is as big as 3.5 on Bet365

Unless it is MON I fail to see how it would be a disguise

Got a tenner on Thracian/ MarbellaDave partnership.

Don't let me down gents.

Haha - even if we could somehow guarantee promotion there's some on here wouldn't take it.

They just couldn't bring themselves to believe in attacking football, they'd still want a "name" and they'll probably die believing in the mythological "winning at home and drawing (or being cautious) away".

I heard my own rumour today! It isn't entirely new, but it sort of made sense.

The basic gist would suggest that people have been leaking out misinformation because of two 'big names' and one difficult-to-acquire smaller name, but that Clark, Hughes, Jones, Davies, Keegan and Keane were no longer candidates, but rather O'Neill, Pearson and David Beckham. The first two sound realistic, I thought the last was a bit far-fetched and rather worrying.

Anyway, this came from a 14/15-year-old student, so make your own judgements on how reliable that may be, but he was a hundred per cent sure.

He also spells 'grammar' with one 'm'. (I told him I'd tell everybody this when I came to share the information).

I suppose it would explain the delay (when we could have employed most of these candidates within 48 hours).

Personally I'm sticking with Jean Tigana. BUT if he's right I will bombard him with requests for information for the next six months and then fix his GCSE results so I can milk him for information for another two years at A-Level.

Also if this is correct I really should apologise to Bert, and at very least offer him a vote of sympathy for having been repeatedly fed such obvious rubbish by his sources. If Bert is telling the truth on this 'disguise' business it can only be someone currently out of the favourites list, so that would seem to back this up.

That said, I really don't think anyone knows anything at the moment. I spotted that someone said this was normal, but I'm not sure it is.

Another thing - why Thursday and not Wednesday for the big unveiling?
