Bugg Posted 27 August 2013 Posted 27 August 2013 I know this game won't depreciate in value much but does anyone have an idea how much GTA V will cost in December time because I won't be in this country for a couple of months? Probably about the same as it would cost on release. Maybe less as shops sometimes sell it for a bit less to entice people into buying more games at that time.
kylestyle06 Posted 27 August 2013 Posted 27 August 2013 I have just pre ordered this with Amazon so it gets delivered on release day. If it is not here shit will hit the fan
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 27 August 2013 Posted 27 August 2013 I have just pre ordered this with Amazon so it gets delivered on release day. If it is not here shit will hit the fan I actually punched a hole in my bedroom door out of frustration when GTA IV wasn't delivered to me on release day... ...except it was, and my dad had put it in the shed without telling me

Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 27 August 2013 Posted 27 August 2013 I'm going to punch a hole in your front door!
Fox92 Posted 27 August 2013 Posted 27 August 2013 hmmm refiling cars with petrol/gas could become tedious, especially in a police chase. i like realism but in a game like gta it might be a bit to much(hope im wrong) I want it to be like what it used to be. GTA4 was a bit more realistic imo and I think that's why I didn't enjoy it as much as Vice City and San Andreas. I can't see them putting petrol onto the game. You'd be in a chase and then could run out of petrol. Then again, I suppose you'd ditch it and rob another car, just like you do when the car eventually blows up...?
Legend_in_blue Posted 27 August 2013 Posted 27 August 2013 When it comes to leaking details on GTA 5, it hasn't been a particularly good week for Sony - and the platform holder may have just let slip on an unannounced PlayStation 4 version of Rockstar's upcoming crime game. Replying to a fan from the platform holder's UK Twitter account this evening, Sony UK said that "GTA V is going to be amazing, especially on the PS4!" The account also retweeted a tweet from the same fan, which said: "GTA5 ON A #PS4 now that we be gaming at the best - while i am singing I "GET LUCKY" THE DAFT PUNK IN ME IS THINKING." Though Rockstar has yet to announce a next-gen version of GTA 5, a PS4 and Xbox One version has often been rumoured. Earlier this month, Rockstar's Leslie Benzies suggested that a next-gen version hadn't been ruled out, saying that the team will "get the current gen version out first and see what happens in the future". GTA 5 launches on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on September 17. A new trailer is set to be released this Thursday. Make of this what you will. I'm holding station on this one. Play the waiting game...
Jaspa Posted 29 August 2013 Posted 29 August 2013 Heads up lads Another trailer out today. Leaks about now too regarding the storyline, so avoid certain sites that natter about that type of stuff. Less than 3 weeks to go, I hope none of our players are gamers because form will drop
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 30 August 2013 Posted 30 August 2013 http://uk.ign.com/videos/2013/08/29/grand-theft-auto-v-official-trailer-rewind-theater Worth a look, IGN's breakdown of the new trailer picks out a few things that are easily missed I don't know why, but just the level of damage on the motorcycle (PCJ600?) tank really wowed me - so much attention to detail
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 1 September 2013 Posted 1 September 2013 Already got the standard game on pre-order, but I also pre-ordered the Collector's Edition yesterday. The intention is to keep it sealed and sell it for profit in a few years - sealed GTA IV collector's already go for £150 and that was only £70 new. Just hope the standard copy gets delivered first because I won't be able to wait. Already got a feeling if the game doesn't get delivered by 12 on launch day I might end up going out and buying another copy...
Simmo86 Posted 1 September 2013 Posted 1 September 2013 Pre Ordered from Amazon for 35 notes. Can't wait

I should of waited till release day really . Can't believe i'll buy another copy to play the game 24 hours early
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 Same It really will be worth it though! When I was playing GTA IV when it first came out, I was blown away by the details and physics and the only parts I weren't keen on were things that had been removed since San Andreas. I thought "if they could shove this detail into San Andreas, then we've got a hell of a game". Now it's almost finally here and I'm itching for anything - first review of the game, possible extra trailer, and of course the actual game I really can't imagine being disappointed with the game in the slightest. The fact that it's the biggest map Rockstar have ever made and it's basically San Andreas but bigger, and more vehicles than ever before, and all the sky-diving and jets and bicycles and mini-gun... it's going to be great
Ashley Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 Personally I can see this coming out on XBOX ONE & PS4, Rockstar would of knew of Microsoft and Sony making new consoles. This is rumoured to be the last GTA so I cant see Rockstar spending all the money they have in making this game and not releasing it on XBOX ONE or PS4.

Of course it will, they would have known there plan all along... Release on PS3 and 360 and generate millions of sales then 6-9 months down the line release again and make double the profit they would of originally made. It's very clever from Rockstar. I can't see this being the last GTA either, why would you stop production on something that makes over 500 Million in sales, GTA is R* bread and butter.

It's pretty much a license to print money. They could give Las Venturas and Vice City the HD treatment.
Jaspa Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 I want them to do another country now though, seems theyre happy to just bounce between LA and NY Anyway, two weeks from now I'll be rolling out to go pick this muffa up
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 This won't be the last GTA, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was the last canon entry for another 5 or 6 years Rockstar have stated they're working on new maps for the multiplayer with the possibility of updating those of former GTA games - my guess is that the next entries in the series will be DLC along the same lines as LATD and Gay Tony, but with additional islands or new/updated maps. I'd love another Chinatown Wars, even a San Andreas Stories which never happened, but they're not really profitable on the current handhelds and the controls for iPhone/iPad don't work smoothly enough for GTA games If the PS Vita and Wii U miraculously developed a strong base, a GTA V spinoff would probably be discussed at Rockstar but with the systems' current sales it would be financial suicide
dobbylcfc Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 Wouldn't mind a revisit of gta london but a present day version think that would be pretty cool
whoareyaaa Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 Wouldn't mind a revisit of gta london but a present day version think that would be pretty cool a UK and US map would be amazing, even another city in Brazil or somewhere all mixed into one game, I'm sure the new console will allow them to tempt something like this.
Fox92 Posted 4 September 2013 Posted 4 September 2013 I'd like them to make a UK map again. I don't get why they haven't done it since GTA London, considering those two Houser brothers who make the game are England.
