The development cycle for most good games is at least two years and most third party titles available at release are rushed messes.

Can't seem to find it If this is true, I like the sound of everything mentioned here (except the masks, would work for some instances but if you can keep it on the whole game, it's a bit Saints Row sort of stupid) 8 kinds of pet - would the 2 non-dog species just be decoration for your safehouses - fish, snake, cat? Or could it be there's a horse-riding school that unlocks horse-riding ability? Rodeo bull? Cougar? Mouse? Need this game now

I've done about 30 minutes of exercise in 10 years... and I can play for hours on both the 'behemoth' gamepad and wiimote/nunchuck with no ill effect. I suggest you try 'manning up'! ;P It's only second to K&M because you have proper control over your aim... That's why nearly all 360/PS3 game have some form of 'auto-aim' to some degree.
