Legend_in_blue Posted 5 October 2013 Posted 5 October 2013 Decided to trade in my ps3 version for the 360 version instead. I'm hoping that this copy doesn't end another consoles life of mine. I just need the old girl to keep going until November 28. . After a dodgy start, wouldn't read the disc, it's now installing. Roughly 75% in. No problems.

Legend_in_blue Posted 5 October 2013 Posted 5 October 2013 Played through to the safe house and then saved and quit. Went back on 20 mins later and the game failed to load prompting me with a warning to possibly get a new storage device or reinstall the game. Luckily I tried it again and it worked. Hopefully this doesn't happen again but I think it's a case of the 360 being on its last legs tbh. Just needs to hold out until the end of this game and then I will get the ps4 in.

Cracked me up and reminded me of the Bud Light guy. From what I've heard I don't like the radio stations as much as I did on San Andreas, but I've not heard them all. The Mexican or Spanish one sounds shit-hot though, and I love the Wham classic on the pop channel.

Dont think it's issues with the console and GTA their console was probley on the way out before this it's just that GTA is probley the most demanding game this gen i would have thought. R* wouldn't release a game that a system couldn't actually handle. happend with alot of things Gears bricked alot of 360's when it came out i remember a update for PSN bricked alot of ps3's aswell considering these consoles have 512 RAM i'm suprised it's even possible to make such a big and detailed game.

Last night was the first time I had no problems at all. In hindsight I can see why the guy at GAME offered £1 extra to guarantee the game. Any problems, take it back, they'll replace it for free. There's stories online where some have gone through three copies and still experience similar problems. Coincidence with GAMEs guarantee? I think not. I may opt for installing the play disc on a USB stick. At least this way the DVD drive isn't running continuously - the noise it makes is ridiculous. The game is decent, the cutscenes are good, but missions have a familiar feel with even more refinement than ever before. I like it.
MC Prussian Posted 8 October 2013 Posted 8 October 2013 Playing as Trevor, I can't pick up the second cargo container with the freight handler. I do as told, approach the container, lower the claw - but it doesn't attach to it like it did with the first one.
