Yes it is although your progress through the game will take a while. The missions take a good 20 minutes I'd say (maybe I'm just very slow). I've not hammered the game at all in terms of playing time, I've had a few big go's but haven't been on it 24/7 and I'm 30% in I think, I actually prefer not rushing it.

I have an hour tops each evening on it and I would say it's ok to play it this way. I've had it a week and I'm just below 20% on story, but that's all I'm concentrating on at the moment. It's decent but as I said before, it feels just like any other GTA game, no different, just more refined in some respects. I'm still worried that it will totally burn out my DVD drive but what the hell, it only needs to last until the end of next month.
whoareyaaa Posted 13 October 2013 Posted 13 October 2013 Just completed this last night, Brilliant game all round. 10/10 At about 75% at the moment but want to 100% the entire thing which should give me another 20 hours at least. Total hours played so far is around 45, not bad at all.

Currently going through the Stunt Jumps - 7 left to do, and some of them are so bloody hard to land perfectly - anyone else having trouble with these? I'll be playing the single-player for ages yet though - I only have roughly $40m with each character after I went through Lester's missions way too early (and the BAWSAQ wasn't working right for the first week or 2 after release, so could only profit from 1 mission), and it's really difficult making big money elsewhere. Damnit. I need that Golf Course!

BoneDog Posted 17 October 2013 Posted 17 October 2013 This game is incredible. After having a few bashes on my Mrs' game I finally caved and bought my own copy on Friday. Been on multiplayer ever since - only done the bank mission at the start of single player so far. I enjoy picking other players up in my helicopter, then flying as high as I can and jumping out. I'd like to think that the silly fools who get in my helicopter don't own a parachute and I'd love to know what happens after I've bailed. Fascinating thought. Also enjoy landing a sticky bomb on someone elses car as I handbrake turn to a halt next to them. Oh how I laugh. Had about 130 races so far and am 'won 25, lost 104' or something. Can make good money doing the races for a few hours. There are some great tracks and cars.

Impossible.Criminal records fastest lap is 10 seconds, my fastest is 24! And for that lap I slipstreamed for about 10 of those!
Foxhateram Posted 17 October 2013 Posted 17 October 2013 Best game since San Andreas. I haven't got into a game like this one for such a long time! Feel like a kid all over again. Spent hours on it today (Good old strike day after a bit of rallying) Just bought my first online property. Cant wait till the weekend to get back online again. Races are amazing also! So much to do! love it!
LestaFox92 Posted 18 October 2013 Posted 18 October 2013 Learnt something new yesterday for people who cant stand auto aim if you change it to free aim in single player you only play with people with no auto aim can only be done in single player tho cant change it when you're online and for me it makes the game shooting gameplay so much more enjoyable.

I have failed a few (the one where you fly the crop duster onto the cargo plane took me a few go's) but so far I've not found any of them overly hard. But, they've been far more entertaining than the drug related shoot-offs you had in 90% of the missions on GTA IV. I used to defend IV and whilst I don't think it was a disgrace, this game puts it to absolute shame.
