MON in talks

How is it proof they spoke to him?

It says;

Nothing whatsoever about MON, It could be anyone, the reporter, well he can name and link anyone.

I meant proof the paper had spoken to Vichai, not proof Vichai had spoke to MON. Sorry could have worded it better.

If they've spoken to Vichai that means the rest of the information in the article is more likely to be reliable. In the MON stories there were no quotes whatsoever from him, which just make me question the validity of the information in the article.

It will be like the icing on the cake if MON is appointed, I still have hope this will happen. :scarf:

Likewise! Until he officially comes out and says he is not interested in the job then there's hope. I actually find it strange that he hasn't ruled himself out yet. Seems only the papers and bookies have ruled him out.

:blush: ... but he didn't ask him or Keane in the end.

Would have been embarassing for Gareth Southgate.

GS: Aren't you gonna ask me if I'm getting a Managers job Adrian?

AC: Are you Gareth?

GS: No. :cry:

Has O'Neil actually come out personally and said no? I dont think he has.... so called 'dources' close to him know jack shite.

Its still possible, it was always slim but theres still a chance.

He always does it that way - doesn't want to publicly turn it down, so floats it into the media via 'sources close to him' that he's not interested.

dont like to burst anyones bubble, but if o'neill was really interested, then im sure we wouldnt still be interviewing candidates.

having said that, if (and it is a big if), martin has been interviewed, then he would certainly have considered returning and that is definate. and to chuck £2million a year into the equation, he if turns the job down,he must be losing his marbles.

I seriously doubt that a Championship clubs management situation would be discussed during a Champs League game. Especially if two candidates in the running are both there.
