l444ry Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 MON is waiting on the Blackburn job Don't be so ridiculous!
Sniffer-Clarke Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 MON was fantastic for City,he put City on the map but his leaving did not go down to well with alot of fans,he went to Celtic a big club with a big fan base but not up against the elite like the premiership, went to AV but he did not set the world alight there,so whether martin is capable of taking a big premiership club [spurs] over and hitting the top spots i am not convinced.
Happy Fox Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 I am very annoyed, but if we get Mark Hughes it somewhat softens the blow of not getting MON
STUHILL Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 I'm not surprised by Blackburn the club, but more that he would work for the owners they have!! They seem more dodgy than a backstreet chicken kebab!! I have no doubt he could keep them up but surely he can hold on for something better if he isn't interested in us

Bit unfair! What more could O'Neill have done with Celtic having taken them to titles, cups and a European final. And to better three top six finishes with Villa was practically impossible.

STUHILL Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 What and our owners aren't a bit dodgy ? Can't complain so far!! Actually I dont know how anyone can?? Spent a lot of money on stuff that wasn't essential and not directly linked to success on the pitch! Pretty rare I would say to have owners like that Always a suspicion about owners intent but apart from sacking sven too early, they havent put a foot wrong for me? Deserve praise and nothing else in my eyes
ARM1968 Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 I'll say it again. Until MON says no, which he has pointedly not said, it is likely that he is considering it. If it was a flat out no he would have come out and said so. He hasn't.
Jace Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 Somebody I know who claims they know Martin O' Neill personally says he has said no he will not be taking the job
ealingfox Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 I don't know if Venky's are dodgy, just seems more to me like they know absolutely nothing about football. How Kean is still in a job is completely beyond me.

He's holding out for Sunderland, the club he supports or Spurs if Harry gets the England job

Deserve praise and nothing else in my eyes Couldn't agree more... All they've done in my eyes is improve the stadium, inject money into the transfer kitty and had the bottle to get rid of the manager when they felt we could get better. Where do people get this opinion of them as being somehow 'shady' in their dealings? The only surprise to me is that they didn't seem to have lined anybody else up yet.. Although this could have happened for all I know

Trav Le Bleu Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 perfect song for this moment There's NEVER a perfect time for a Take That song! Much better.
Leicesterpool Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 What we all want to see is MON at a press conference with the leicester city badge in the back ground & hearing the owner welcoming him back to Leicester.
jonno24 Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 All this waiting is doing my head in!!!! All good things
flanimal Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 If we don't have a manager in place by friday I'm going to start getting a little unsteady.
BrummieFOX Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 More than happy for them to take as long as they need to find the right man. Delighted we haven't rushed out and signed the first big name applicant.
Toffee_Fox Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 Don't be so ridiculous! Okay, MON will be appointed Lcfc manager, tevez and messi will sign, better?
STUHILL Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 Okay, MON will be appointed Lcfc manager, tevez and messi will sign, better? In all honesty though, why would Oneil even declare he was waiting for the Blackburn job?? Even to his friends, that is a bizarre thing to say and so I cant see any truth in it
l444ry Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 Okay, MON will be appointed Lcfc manager, tevez and messi will sign, better? That's two ridiculous posts. Why don't you go for a hat-trick mate?
