Hmm, I'm unconvinced. I can see him reappearing in a few weeks, having spent the interim sunning himself on his parents' yacht in the Caribbean without giving us lot a second thought. The only comments he'll make about his 'date' will be to complain about how undercooked the quails' eggs were, that the langoustine were chewy and that his fois gras was under-seasoned.
