Mythyaar Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Looks more than likely he'll return. Good news then! Gives him a good opportunity to assess our capabilities now, get the team as well organised as it can be (something he will achieve) and then assess what we need to buy in January to strengthen and buy/ sell accordingly. Play offs have to be the realistic target now, he has time to sort this!
shen Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 any news from lcfc yet? Nope, just that Pearson has asked permission to speak about the Leicester City vacancy
flowwolf Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 No babylon I see your point and know that is not how it works. But it just stinks in this particular case seeing as how he was forced out here and Hull where good enough to take him on and get him the players he asked for only to be shit on by him the minute he sees Leicester beckoning , the very same Leicester who made him leave. Which ever way you look at it he is wrong to do that.
Darkon84 Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 So when an employer takes you on and pays your wages you expect no loyalty towards them or the supporters. They are just throw away commodities ? I personally don't care about Hull City that is not my point. But i sure as hell care about Leicester city and do not want a manager with such low moral standards. Havent you actually thought that NP didnt actually want to leave here? Perhaps he actually enjoyed his time here and he sees this as unfinished business? If that is the case, then we will have one of the most determined mangers around with such a huge, huge drive to succeed and prove that he was the one all along. It cannot be a bad thing that he is coming back.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 The annoying thing about this is that it's reminded me of how pissed off I was when he was allowed to leave in the first place. I'm starting to remember how much I love Nigel Pearson. By the way, if things don't go well this season then PLEASE give him a full pre season before we get on his back all the time. Personally, I don't really care if we go up, I can't wait to have much of the pride I had in my team nearly a couple of years ago restored. YOU ARE MY LEICESTER
who-izzet Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 No. He wants to talk to us, not the same thing at all. Maybe he wants to meet face to face so that he can tell us to fook the fook off, wouldn't blame him...... that I can believe after what happened in the 1st place. I was totally shocked when I 1st heard all this was going on and even more shocked when it was announced that Pearson want's to talk to us.
italianfox Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 I know im new but he will be the Lcfc manager by 9/11. very good authority. i know i will be slated but its the word im hearing.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Has Pearson asked to talk about the vacancy? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15621888.stm

Unfortunately someone gets shit on eventually, we've been on the receiving end enough times here with O'Neil, Little and Magoo all leaving when they got the chance.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Has Pearson asked to talk about the vacancy? Yes
Fox92 Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 I know im new but he will be the Lcfc manager by 9/11. very good authority. i know i will be slated but its the word im hearing. And can I just add to this, I have been on the Hull forum and one thread read that Pearson 'will be gone by Thursday' which is the 10th.

m00nie Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 You don't want a manager because you seem to care about Hull City's fans more than ours. If you don't want him because you don't think he's good enough that's one thing, but not wanting him because he wants to leave Hull? That doesn't make any sense. where have i said i care about hulls fans?? i said i didnt want him even before it came out he wanted to talk to us..
italianfox Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 I will never bullshit about our great club. I know two people at LCFC, one of which has quite good contacts and it will happen by Wednesday at 4pm. Talks are ongoing but will not be disclosed till compensation agreed.

Only lynch him when he loses the first game. Has Pearson asked to talk about the vacancy? Yup, according to sources in Hull. Radio Humberside has reported it.
blueredswed Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Going from Mark Huges and down to Pearson...... :crylaugh: Sorry, if I stamp on anyone here BUT :crylaugh:
Basingstoke Fox Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 You missed out Smegson.......... That was gutting.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 I've gone on record many times saying that I'd tell my employers to go f*** themselves at the slightest sniff of a better offer elsewhere. And that's how I lost my job as Managing Director of Glaxosmithkline
MrSpaM Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 No babylon I see your point and know that is not how it works. flowwolf Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Are you talking about me or actual managers? I have loyalty to Leicester because I am a fan. I don't expect the same from at least 99% of professionals in the game. No kitchandro I am not talking about you , just this particular case. I respect what you have to say and the site would not be worth coming on if we all thought the same, so it's all about opinions that's all.
marbelladave Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Going from Mark Huges and down to Pearson...... :crylaugh: Sorry, if I stamp on anyone here BUT :crylaugh: Mark Huges, he's really a big name..........
Basingstoke Fox Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Mark Huges, he's really a big name.......... Terrible. That's the sort of jokes that I laugh at!
Basingstoke Fox Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 I'm now dreaming of a Bruno Berner winner at Wembley.
