psychonaut Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 If its true it sums our season up so far. Anti-climax
ousefox Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Lucky bastard if true. Hopefully hes not like my mate, who will CLAIM something similar, then backtrack when you tell him its his round becuase he just won all that money....''yeaaaa errrr its errrr not in my acount yet ummm maybe next time''. haha He heard it from someone who knew the goalkeeping coach at Hull, so went to this independent bookies ASAP and it looks as if he's going to bankrupt him!
Darkon84 Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 He heard it from someone who knew the goalkeeping coach at Hull, so went to this independent bookies ASAP and it looks as if he's going to bankrupt him! In that case, nicely done

DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Back to the bloody Dark Ages again. For heaven's sake. NO!
Ric Flair Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Back to the bloody Dark Ages again. For heaven's sake. NO! What dark ages are these? Winning every other game and hardly conceding any goals? Pass me the bread and dripping. Prat!
NeilyBoy Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Yeah it was so embarrassing when we stormed straight back out of League 1 and into the playoffs under Nigel with a weaker squad than we have now...
Yojoe36 Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 So Pearson, what tactics today? "Well we'll get the ball to Konch, and boot it upfront to Howard for 90 mins. It's not predictable at all. The opposition will have no chance" Jokes
Babylon Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Back to the bloody Dark Ages again. For heaven's sake. NO! Back? We've not scored in 6 games over a quarter of a season so far, we had 9/10 blanks under him in a whole season. Dark ages my arse.
Burmesefox Posted 7 November 2011 Author Posted 7 November 2011 Thread title changed until something credible appears. to be fair it's sounding pretty credible now - listen to the radio
Babylon Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Back to the dark ages of buying young talent for peanuts, climbing the league, feeling proud to actually be a Leicester fan again. Terrible stuff.
ARM1968 Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Pearson will do well IF he comes. The squad is good enough for promotion as it stands and will be better by January's end. Just can't help thinking that we NEED to go up, or we're doomed!
Filberts Treat Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Back to the bloody Dark Ages again. For heaven's sake. NO! Are u Stringer in disguise? NP hates you!!!
Moreton Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Back to the bloody Dark Ages again. For heaven's sake. NO! i find your lack of faith disturbing.
ajthefox Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Hopefully if we do get back to the dark ages at least we won't have to listen to DT's garbage.
PegguyArphexad Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 I am disgusted that we are even contemplating taking a backwards step to employ a previous manager who is talented, hungry oh and just happens to be one of the most successful managers the club has ever had. I think most would agree that the most unity the club has felt as a whole in recent history (post-MON) in under Pearson. During those two seasons I felt the most pride of being a Leicester fan. No circus, no big time Charlie's, no worrying about a global brand; it was just about the football. I go to a lot of Southampton games (due to getting a free ticket, location and the fact that I just love football and want to watch it week in week out without breaking the bank) and currently the feeling around St. Mary's is infectiously positive. I see Nigel Atkins and Nigel Pearson as very similar for more than just sharing a first name. They are hard workers, low profile, intelligent football managers who get the best out of the team. I personally believe under the stewardship of Pearson the club can regain some identity and push onwards. Come home Pearson.

Cubbyben Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Don't mind being slated for having my own thoughts so here goes. If NP returns I will be disappointed and relieved at the same time if that's possible?! I have no problem with Nigel, he did a superb job here and turned a sinking ship around. I just think we had a massive chance to change the entire way the football club functions. I wanted to see long term plans for the academy and scouting department lead by a manager who was here to set out a vision for the next 10 years not just the next 7 months. None of the above however is NP's fault it just seems the owners are so desperate for the Prem that a Jim'll fix it type appointment was the only way the club was ever going to go. Good luck to Nigel and who knows what he can do with some decent financial backing. Obviously the relieved part is not hiring the likes of Keane. Dowie and Freedman which could all of been horror shows.
Guest Col city fan Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Back? We've not scored in 6 games over a quarter of a season so far, we had 9/10 blanks under him in a whole season. Dark ages my arse. Hehe magic...
Kitchandro Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Back to the bloody Dark Ages again. For heaven's sake. NO! I'm pretty sure you post this crap just to get a reaction I'm not hugely optimistic but I don't know how anyone can criticise the job he did here. He arguably did the best job of any manager ever apart from MON.
Babylon Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 He's been to hull and back Fryatt is stuck there
