Finchy Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 yea lets blame it all on kermo... forget the first leg where np bottled it , forget waghorn missing his... that way we can paint a picture of NP on a pedestal and everyhting perfect... No we shouldn't blame it all on Kermo but we definitely shouldn't be blaming it on Pearson. Yes the first leg wasn't great, but remember he also inspired one of the best comebacks we'll ever see, one of the proudest moments in recent years for us. That kind of motivation is what we need right now, nothing else. We have the players, they are capable of being at the top of the league, we need someone to make them give a shit, he will do that. No doubt. Anyway for the play offs, I personally blame it on Whittingham, moving the freekick a few yards closer to the goal, without doing that it was actually impossible to score like that. I also blame Howard Webb for an awful decision for their peno.
blueredswed Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Twelve managers make the football league play offs every year. Nine of those twelve all "bottle" it... Pearson is gonna be our Pulis. Come on Nigel, take us to the prem! AND THEN???????????
Horibbly Wrong Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Yeh I follow Bert too. well I dont...thanks Liam
mancunianfox Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 yea lets blame it all on kermo... forget the first leg where np bottled it , forget waghorn missing his... that way we can paint a picture of NP on a pedestal and everyhting perfect... Was that the first leg when Kevin McNaughton was playing Basketball everytime the ball went into the Cardiff box???
Kitchandro Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Micky Adams was better. He actually SAVED the club in 02-03. The best Pearson can manage this season is the playoffs, and we should all remember how he bottled them last time.. He bottled them less than Dave Jones did/has. If it wasn't for poor officiating we would have almost definitely been in the final. We lost on peanlties as well, the only people that bottled it were Kermorgant and Waggy.
Jimmy Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Liam does actually have his own source, just to defend the lad, he posted some stuff before bert during the last transfer window that was true

TrentFox Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 He's been to hull and back And now he's knock, knock, knocking on Sven's door ??????? (So sorry to anyone that just read that)
flowwolf Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 i find your lack of faith disturbing. yes and I find your lack of reality is more disturbing.Does anyone seriously think Pearson is the answer or is it pure desperation form the owners because their "big name" hunt went tits up. His football style is dull as dishwater God help us if he gets it.
Kitchandro Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Pearson has also learnt how to beat Forest away, doing it twice with Hull this year. He was obviously using us to test the water.
Big Dave Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Now being mentioned on BBC sport web site (See the yellow rolling banner)
dave_the_fox Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Was definitely on radio Leicester 12 o clock news " pearson has asked hull for permission to speak to leicester"
Master Fox Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Now being mentioned on BBC sport web site (See the yellow rolling banner) I see it! Exciting!
B52 Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 I don't get it. Get rid of Sven to get Pearson... Pearson playes like Sven did in Italy and MON played like Sven did in Portugal. So why do you want them? Romantic daydreaming with pink fluffy clouds. Get a young manager with an eager and approach that suits 2011 not the old days.

Reynard Bleu Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 At least you know what you get with NP, some honesty, some graft, some discipline and some order. If it is him lets hope he can exploit the talents of the players he has and/or have the opportunity to add some craft and some firepower in January. Although his objective will be the same, he has a different environment to work in and a different set of tools to do the job. He may not be the name the owners thought they needed and he may not have the dynamism that some posters want, but he has a reasonable record on most of his appointments and he was popular here last time. We might be able to afford bigger names, but would they be any better? I am not carrying a torch for NP, but right now we need someone with bollox not just talent.
Alexikokopops Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15621888.stm I love Pearson.
Wycombe Fox Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 And this legend Pearson is a manager who knews how we get up in premier? And then when wee is there goodbye Pearson you are not soooo good or? :scarf: Bit early ain't it?

HAHA honesty.... he kicked up a fuss because apparently mm let him talk to hull.. he said he was forced out.. he says hes loyal.. when interviewed the other day he said hes employed by hull and none of this matters. his duty is to hull.. so when they refused us to talk to him that should have been it.. but now hes saying he wants to talk to us... yeah thats really honest... money talks and bullshit walks...
