Who would you include in your squad? My team would be: Hart Kelly Jones Smalling Baines Rodwell Barton A.Johnson Wilshere Carroll Sturridge subs: Stockdale, Cahill, Gibbs,Shawcross, Gosling, Henderson, Welbeck, possibly Nolan, Peltier of course... and some U-21s Flanagan, Naughton, McEachran, Amos, Oxlade-Chamberlain What about you?
Jimothy Posted 12 November 2011 Posted 12 November 2011 All I know is I wouldn't be playing Phil Jones in central midfield. I watched the Liverpool v Man Utd game where he was overran by Charlie Adam, and was pretty woeful overall. And you wouldn't have to pay me £6M to notice these basics either.

They were always vastly over rated and fail at every major tournament. Rooney also is a waste of space and should never appear in an England shirt again after his outrageous outburst at the last world cup that people have just forgotten about. I really don't know who I would play - I vowed never to watch another England game again after the Germany defeat and I haven't watched them since - but I said at the time and I will say again, the team needs winding up for 10 years, let's pull out of all competitions for a decade and get our shit together. All plastic cones should be melted down and banned from every training ground in the country and it should be a offence worthy of a prison term to ever train kids by letting them run round cones instead of training with a fcuking football. Unfortunately an entire generation has been lost to the athletics side of things so we can dismiss winning anything for the next 10 years at least. We need to build up a generation of players who train with the ball and play with their heads but before this, don't get your hopes up of England ever winning anything because the lads are just not good enough at all.

Only because he isn't as good as Cole, and is sometimes defensively questionable. He is very good going forward though and his crossing is like, the best in the Premier League. Will it work?
