John Matrix Posted 24 November 2011 Posted 24 November 2011 mattocks mates are a bunch of pricks as well...
Walker Posted 24 November 2011 Posted 24 November 2011 Didn't think I could hate a player more than Dennis Wise, but I absolutely despise that arrogant specimen Joe Mattock. Sheff United last year was my favourite away day purely for the abuse he had to endure. Was absolute magic when he went down injured right in front of us! Quick tempo, balls into the channels for Beckford and Nugent with lots of pressure on the ball is the key on Saturday Pompey 0-2 Leicester (Nugent x2, Mattock's leg snapped)
Tommy G Posted 24 November 2011 Posted 24 November 2011 Mattocks mates might be a bunch of "pricks" but I know a mate of his and he's perfectly sound. Bit of a generalisation? Maybe all your mates are pricks?
whitlock Posted 25 November 2011 Posted 25 November 2011 Most importantly though, Mattock is a ****. Think I read somewhere his missus is up the duff..
Simi Posted 25 November 2011 Posted 25 November 2011 Mattock is a cretin of the highest order and will be getting bantered from all angles tomorrow.
HEGGSY Posted 25 November 2011 Posted 25 November 2011 Leicester City 4 - 1 Portsmouth Nugent x 2. Varney Beckford King You heard it here first (please be right )

FoxyPV Posted 25 November 2011 Posted 25 November 2011 Don't care what the score is, who scores or how we play, as long as we beat the bastards.

Salieri Posted 25 November 2011 Posted 25 November 2011 I think appointing Appleton was a gamble and one that could backfire, and I think it will. I reckon Pompey face a struggle this season and 3 points are most definitely there for the taking. It'll be tight but we'll sneak it 1-0 (Nugent).

Certainly not one where there's a bit of a buzz and there's an immediate impact. They lost to Watford t'other day too. But they still have a decent team. Think Nige will get the better of him though.
Corky Posted 25 November 2011 Posted 25 November 2011 How long is St Joseph of Mattockshire at Portsmouth? Will us non-attending set get to see him at the KP on New Year's Eve?
Salieri Posted 25 November 2011 Posted 25 November 2011 How long is St Joseph of Mattockshire at Portsmouth? Will us non-attending set get to see him at the KP on New Year's Eve? Loan until Jan 2nd so he may well be present.
Simmo86 Posted 25 November 2011 Posted 25 November 2011 Loan until Jan 2nd so he may well be present. Depends if they've worked out he's ****ing awful by then! Hope not!
Corky Posted 25 November 2011 Posted 25 November 2011 Loan until Jan 2nd so he may well be present. he's still there.
Captain... Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 Sorry but squirm all you like, me included. There's a fair few of us who rated Mattock. Bumhole up your Barry shitter but theres evidence of praise. His career has stalled but he's stll a tidy performer and he won't be accustomed to picking three out the net. NUGE!! I always rated him while he was with us, thought he could have been something, definitely would have benfited from another season under NP and not beating up a woman. Oh well, looks like being another wasted talent from the youth team, he could have been the next Richard Stearman...
Nickfosse Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 Portsmouth will win 2 1. Sorry. This site will be full of negative NP threads following the positive stuff this week, which will be unfair because football is full of ups and downs, and the sooner we learn to deal with them without over-reacting to either the better.

Nickfosse Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 Ha ha. Nice one. Just what I think will happen. Hope I'm wrong though

You're the fella that said that City were crap in the 70's aintcha? A 'glass is half empty' kinda guy... Or so it would seem. I'm confident of at least a draw today
Nickfosse Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 No I said they were great under Bloomfield. Poor after. Do you disagree?
