Im travling from leicester to nottingham on the train. i was wondering how long it takes to walk from the station to the city ground and also is there any away fans only pubs on route. also, do you get marched down by the police like some away fans do in leicester. (taking my young nephew for his first leicester game for crimbo and cant do with hassel of being treated like cattle) thank you in advance. first forest game.

I've been once, I went on Fox Travel that time though (Going on train this time), I ended up going to the Notts County ground as they open there bar up, but I found the police wouldn't let you leave for the ground on your own, you had to wait there and they escorted you to the ground - we ended up missing the first 5 or so minutes of the game due to this.

As for how far from the train station it is http://www.footballgroundguide.com/nottingham_forest/ that website says it will take about 20 minutes, I'm not sure if there are any away pubs but I doubt it, as I said you'll probably be better of going to the Notts County ground, although I have read in the past a few people of here get in Hooters but seeing as you are taking your young nephew this might not be an advisable place to take them.

Wow, 8000 LCFC fans, this will be the biggest away end I've ever been in.

Not being pessimistic because this will be good I think, but big away end - Not necesserily a good thing.

Many of the smaller away ends are better than when we take alot.
