lavrentis Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 What are people planning to do for the year 2012... and if you had some this year, did you keep it or are you a massive failure.
Soar Fox Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 Saving some money. For my age I earn a decent wage, still live at home and my monthly bills are under £300. But apart from my car, a couple of holidays a year and some really bad hangovers I haven't got much to show for it.
jonno24 Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 The Baby will dominate my year next year so my resolution is to save up as much money as possible and get him/her whatever they need
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 i hope i support my wife and give her all the help she needs, i hope we can move forward without anymore setbacks and i hope the year 2012 brings health and happiness to all those that deserve it
Finnegan Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 First time that I'll ever really be making a new years resolution and striving to stick to it. I want to return to fitness. Proper fitness. I was hugely athletic in my childhood and my teens, if there was a sport going I did it. Was rapid between 400 and 1500m and want to get that back. Been such a lazy **** since uni.
jonthefox Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 I'll not be making any resolutions i have no intention of sticking to.
davieG Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 To not take football too seriously unless you earn your living from it it's only a game FFS. Well until we play Crystal Palace.
lavrentis Posted 11 December 2011 Author Posted 11 December 2011 Yeah think as well this will be the first time I will do some, which will be... To bulk up, gonna buy some weights and stick to them. Then will join the gym when I feel comfortable. Be less depressed, just don't know why but I'm a miserable ****er Do work quicker... Just be myself more and stop trying to impress others and stop caring about what others might think. Be less tight with money, might sound odd but I starve myself sometimes!
Finnegan Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 To not take football too seriously unless you earn your living from it it's only a game FFS. Well until we play Crystal Palace. I've tried countless times, it doesn't work.
Jackirius Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 I will be saving money for travelling and will be getting back to proper fitness in time for October and may take up a martial art, as i've always wanted to.
StanSP Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 New Years' resolutions are a load of bull. Firstly, why wait til the new year to change your ways or do something new? If it was that important, you'd do it straight away. Secondly, I know very few people who actually stick to them for longer than a week. They say they'll stop smoking; doesn't happen. They say they'll stop drinking; doesn't happen. They say they'll stop eating a certain type of food; doesn't happen.
ScouseFox Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 Same as every year since about 2006. Do more work, get a job, get pissed less, waste less money. All be broken by Forest away.

Well, for me, I've been saying I need to get back in to shape for months now and I've just kept putting it off as I've been busy and the hardest part is just starting the routine. I struggle to change my daily cycle a lot, a mixture of anxiety and simply being a creature of habit. So I like to have definitive time frames for things in my head and "from the new year" is a good one. I doubt I'm alone.
I am Rod Hull Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 To shave more often... I walk around half the time looking like a WW2 German U-boat captain...
The Doctor Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 No reason to wait until the new year but over the next year I'd hope to: A) Sort out my sleeping pattern - I'm pretty much nocturnal now. B) Lose some weight C) Learn to cook something other than curries.
Rincewind Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 I don't really make them But I hope to sort my life out. 1 Finances 2 Job part or full time 3 Tidy my flat 4 Have a few beers 5 Get my collection of writings together into an E-Book. Putting aside my plans for a published hard/softback version. 6 Last until 2013
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 i hope i support my wife and give her all the help she needs, i hope we can move forward without anymore setbacks and i hope the year 2012 brings health and happiness to all those that deserve it Good luck to you both.

Go for it. I'm looking to just sorting everything out - though I suspect that when that happens the world will end.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 My priority is to go on a diet, which will be tough for me, as I am a fried food lover. Very bad, I know. The second is going to be even harder. I shall endeavour to a better person all round!! Talk about ambitious.

21st Century Fox Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 To shave more often... I walk around half the time looking like a WW2 German U-boat captain... Snap! I often think I'll just buy a thick jumper and complete the 'Das Boot extra' look.
