Bob Weasel Fox Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 The way we are playing at the moment - Mid table at best. Hopefully though NP will turn it around and we will get a play off spot
Guest Col city fan Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 The way we are playing at the moment - Mid table at best. Hopefully though NP will turn it around and we will get a play off spot We will finish 5th IMO. With the three signings I mentioned
Bausor Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 would take the playoffs now after a bad start, be nice to beat hull in the final if they get there, look back in amber would cry tho
He's not bald Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 10th at best, we still can't string 2 wins together, will get beat by Donny on Saturday and we always struggle at home on Boxing Day no matter who we play, by the time we play Pompey we'll not be able to make up the ground regardless of Santa Topps Christmas cheque book!
cc_star Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 About 8th to 10th unless NP can add to Kasper & Peltier, we need higher quality all over especially at CB, CM, wide & Forwards
GREG LCFC Posted 11 December 2011 Author Posted 11 December 2011 get those janaury signings out and sort the mid out!
Yojoe36 Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 Start of season - 2nd A few games in - 3rd/4th Pearson appointed new manager - 5th Now - 6th
Happy Fox Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 We are only 10 points from second having said that we are only 10 points from a relegation spot such is the unpredictability of this league therefore I won't make any predictions based on the fact that their will be egg on my face.
Green-Fox Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 Its the championship if a team starts getting a good run together could finish anywhere, we could still get 2nd place I don't think we will I reckon we will be in top 6 but any things possible in this league!
Matt Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 If yesterday and the past few performances are to go by I reckon 9th - 11th. Think I may be going abit OTT, it's to early to rule out and we all know what a good run of a few games (Although that's easier said than done and we've failed to do for a while) can do in this league but I said after yesterday's game we can say bye to playoff hopes. I hope i'm wrong but a few players need to improve and quick. Consistancy is the key and I feel like it's deja vu because i'm sure i've said it in the past, the only thing we are consistant at is being inconsistant.
rico Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 6th,hopefully we'll go on our good run Jan/Feb when other teams are picking up injuries or suspensions
Kitchandro Posted 11 December 2011 Posted 11 December 2011 I'm gonna go with 4th. We must get stronger as the season goes on because we've been mostly crap so far. We have a good squad and unlike under Sven I feel Nigel knows what he's doing. As long as we get a decent winger in January I think we'll be fine, but I do think we need an attacking centre mid to go that bit further. Still plenty of ups and downs to come, we will win 2 in a row eventually and when we do go on a run confidence will grow and we'll start to live up to our potential. Southampton and West Ham will be difficult to catch but I don't rate many teams below that.
acooling08 Posted 12 December 2011 Posted 12 December 2011 Automatic is too far for us. I reckon we'll be around 8th for most of the season, hopefully nicking 6th towards the end of the season.
accessory Posted 12 December 2011 Posted 12 December 2011 This squad has neither the stamina nor the mental strength to make the top six. Unless Pearson makes a couple of inspired loan signings in the new year, we'll finish with around the same points total as last year. That won't get us into the playoffs and will mean more rebuilding in the summer.
ithuriel Posted 12 December 2011 Posted 12 December 2011 Where will we finish this season? it depend's on who we bring in during January. I would bet that Pearson and his staff had a nice dossier on player's they would like to aquire whilst at Hull and now he has the cash he may try for them if they fit into what he require's here. They may very well be player's we have not heard of, we will just have to wait and see. Remember when O'niell got us promoted, thing's looked bleak and the team he took over was inconsistent. They then went on a really bad run until he got in the player's he wanted and they had a few game's together to learn each other's strength's. We had never really heard of Lennon, Izzet and Watts and peeps guffawed at us buying Claridge but suddenly we turned our poor form on it's head and snuck a play off place at the death and won it. What this show's is that you never can say where you will finish during this time of the year, even team's that have strolled the division up until xmas can suddenly collapse. So with me it is a case of wait and see, we have yet to have a decent patch this year and i have a feeling it will come after xmas.
foxfanazer Posted 12 December 2011 Posted 12 December 2011 Would take 6th in a heartbeat. Never thought I'd be saying that at the start of the season but any team that can't string together 2 wins in a row hasn't got a chance of getting automatic promotion. Really don't want us to keep trying to buy our way out of trouble because it's just not working. We need players that see Leicester as a step up in their career an not a drop down for bigger wages. I think Kasper, konchesky, peltier and nugent have done well but other than that nobody has the hunger to win games
