MikeyT Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 Team is: Schmeichel, Peltier, Konchesky, Mills, Tunchev, Gallagher, King, Abe, Danns, Schlupp, Nugent. Subs: Weale, Beckford, Wellens, Kennedy, Taft, Moussa, Dyer
whoareyaaa Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 Defence looks pretty strong, and glad he has given Schlupp another chance! CMON CITY!
VinceNoir Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 Hope Danns plays in the middle. He seemed strong in that position against Palace.
One Arm Babba Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 I'm feeling this!! The team looks good. I think we're going to smash them! I hope Taft and Kennedy get a run out.
m00nie Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 strange selection by seems of it.. 4-4-2 will see danns/abe out wide ??
MikeyT Posted 7 January 2012 Author Posted 7 January 2012 strange selection by seems of it.. 4-4-2 will see danns/abe out wide ?? Might be 4-3-3 with Gally, Nugent and Schlupp up top.
hebangsthedrums Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 If that's a 4-3-3 I've wanted to see that middle 3 for a while. If its a 4-4-2, don't like Abe or Danns as wide players.
dave_the_fox Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 strange selection by seems of it.. 4-4-2 will see danns/abe out wide ?? Don't think so pal. Maybe a 4-1-2-3?
LcFc_Smiv Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 strange selection by seems of it.. 4-4-2 will see danns/abe out wide ?? Could be playing very narrow, Abe in that holding position, King and Danns in central mid with Gally sitting in front of them and behind the strikers?
m00nie Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 433/4123/41212 could be good then.. abe battling, danns energy, king floating.. dont want to see abe or dans pushed out wide..
adam95581 Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 Could be playing very narrow, Abe in that holding position, King and Danns in central mid with Gally sitting in front of them and behind the strikers? Reckon it's better to play narrow than try to put players out wide when they're not wide players and try to create artificial width! 2-0 city. Danns and Gally!
Libertine Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 Was hoping JB would get a start today. And Kennedy tbf, would prefer Konch back in for the league. Hey ho.
Charl91 Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 I like, with the exception of no beckford starting yet again. Give the poor guy a start, I think he's deserved it with his sub appearances in the last few games. Let nugent have a well earned rest.
MikeyT Posted 7 January 2012 Author Posted 7 January 2012 Was hoping JB would get a start today. And Kennedy tbf, would prefer Konch back in for the league. Hey ho. Same here.
MikeyT Posted 7 January 2012 Author Posted 7 January 2012 For those bothered: Nottingham Forest: Camp, Gunter, Freeman, Chambers©, Lynch, Moussi, Greening, McCleary, McGugan, Reid, Tudgay Subs: Smith, Boateng, Anderson, Majewski, Derbyshire, Harewood, Blackstock
Salieri Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 Was hoping JB would get a start today. And Kennedy tbf, would prefer Konch back in for the league. Hey ho. Ditto. Other than that, can't argue.

Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 Sat in ground (soon stood) waiting for us to destroy Forest. We owe them one. Hope its 442 with Abe + Gallagher on wings.
savagefox Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 all BBC Nottingham commentary keeps going on about how much support we have compared to the dirty tree supporters
Captain... Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 If Beckford's not playing it could be because he is on the way out, I think Nuge would benefit from the rest, thought we would see Kennedy again, Konch and Peltier must be 100% fit so that is good news.
