At least worth taking on trial to see what he's capable of. Don't think Pearson would go anywhere near Deek. He's a free agent 'cos he ballsed up some greedy move to China and left Hibs in the lurch. Not a Nigel sort of player at all. Plus, as much as I love him and he had a lot of promise early in his career, realistically I think he'd struggle in the Champ. He's essentially a bit more of a consistent Gallagher, not what we need really.
