Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Dreadful performance. Gallagher was wank, again. King did FA. Mills is the biggest waste of money since Akinbyi, and NP made his subs far too late. Wank.
Master Fox Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 It was inept, but I remember some absolutely dreadful performances under Levein, Megson, Kelly, Adams, Bassett and Holloway that all surpassed this one by quite some distance! We've had some great teams over the years. Truly blessed.
Finnegan Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Better under Sven. Fact. That was the worst of the season so far. Worse even than Millwall. Gallagher was absolutely beyond shit. How he could be that bad against Forest and retain his place was beyond me. But to be that bad again?
cc_star Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Can someone please explain why Sven created so much s**t at this club? He was here barely half a season and in that time made some good signings and had us in a better position than Pearson has us. Why do some of you think he created such a mess? He was here for a year and spent upto £20m on a shit-ton of loans and big name or big reputation players, he got 35 pts from his last 81, the man was the very definition of "waste or "mid-table" It is but Sven wasn't given time this season. Last season we were in the relegation zone when Sven took over and with emergency loans etc we at one time were close for playoffs. This season the team was Svens but he wasn't given enough time to know if he would get us promoted with this team or not. a chimpanzee could have got that play-off squad up from the bottom to mid-table he had the whole summer & the very second we walked out on the pitch at Cov in the 1st match it was clear 4-3-3 wasn't working, which was a whole summer of signings & coaching down the drain That was Pearson's midfield getting dominated again. Via 18 months of mis-management We were utter sh1t today, but we have been since we got found out at half-time away at Derby last Feb, the past 12m since our winning run ended have been dire
tyneside fox Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Poor result thought DYER played Well. liked the look of there winger Vaz Te he ran rings round our players. He is stalling on a contract could do with him here IMO
woznotwos Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Thank god Sven isnt here to waste anymore money , dont blame Pearson , this is Svens team Svens team built for svens style but couldnt really play that style still ! Wellens was awful beyond belief , gallaghers corners were awful and we only play him for his set piece ability surely . Get rid of those 2 and then start to build with whats left
iamafox Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 We're probably worse at home than we are away at the moment.
drc Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 “I am disappointed to be leaving Leicester City Football Club. It was always my aim to lead the club into the Barclays Premier League and I am very sorry that I won’t be able to do that. “I have always thought, and still believe now, that the club will be promoted this season. The current squad is capable and ready to achieve promotion, but football is a results industry and unfortunately we couldn’t quite get things right enough of the time. “Being the manager of Leicester City was an absolute pleasure and I wish everyone connected with the club the best of luck. Leicester City is a great club and I am certain that with the current owners in charge the club will go from strength to strength. “To the players; old, new, everyone in the squad, I would like to say thank you. You are a talented group and I am hopeful that you will achieve success very soon. “To the staff at the club; both at the stadium and the training ground – you treated me like a king and I shall miss working with you all. “Last but not least, to the fans; I want to say a huge thank you for your support. You are fantastic people and I will never forget the way you welcomed me in to your club. I am just sorry that I won’t be on the bench the day you reach the Premier League.”
HoustonFox Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 We're probably worse at home than we are away at the moment. Probably because the opposition fans when we are away give more support to the team that our home fans...
shen Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Thank god Sven isnt here to waste anymore money , dont blame Pearson , this is Svens team Oh come off it. will you? Pearson is very much to blame for putting that team together. He's the one that chose Sven's players in today's line-up. He could've gone with Weale, Kennedy, Moore, Waghorn, Berner or Abe if he thought they were better than Sven's crop. Even Oakley and Moussa are out on loan. 'Blame Sven'? That doesn't wash I'm afraid...
woznotwos Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Probably because the opposition fans when we are away give more support to the team that our home fans... true but thats the same everywhere really , but other teams seem to cope.
ozleicester Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Somewhat laughable, unless you only watched the Derby game, who never put a single tackle in, we've been abject w@nk all season. See Bristol City, Reading, Millwall or any of the other 13 games for details. I watched alot of games under Sven... and even the ones we lost, we at least looked like a quality football side. Its the complete opposite with NP... even the games we win we dont look good.. and when we lose... we look AWFUL
steveherbe Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 " Only Kasper,Konchescky & Dyer come away from that game with any pride" Totally agree. As for the rest of them, they can fook right off as far as I'm concerned. I was going to give player ratings, but between the rest of 'em that wouldn;t add up to 10. WTF are King and Wellens (and Gallagher) still playing? Watched on Thai TV so no commentary to influence me, and I can see we are AWFUL. If the mercury run any player quotes about how we can still get promoted I think I'll scream. And we reckon signing Sharp will turn this around? If he's got any sense he'll say no thanks. He's got more chance of staying up with Donny. I'd prefer to see the ressise and U18s given a run, at least they'd show some effort. Du du du du, fooking useless. Glad I'm not going to Southampton for my 'local' game, they dont deserve my - or anyones - support.
lcfcsnow Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 No idea from start to finish, should have but 1-5 but for Kasper, love the guy.
iamafox Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Probably because the opposition fans when we are away give more support to the team that our home fans... I guarantee that will be the case again on Tuesday against Forest with less home fans expected to turn up for the replay.
MANFACE Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Bloody Hell, just signed on to read about our victory against Barnsley......FFS !
sampears18 Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 He was here for a year and spent upto £20m on a shit-ton of loans and big name or big reputation players, he got 35 pts from his last 81, the man was the very definition of "waste or "mid-table" Don't be ridiculous, Sven played a completely different style of football and needed to make signings and change the mindset of the players. The fact is he didn't have enough time, and with the little time he did have, had us in a better position than Pearson has got us.
Master Fox Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 As an aside, I love the way people from Leicester say 'RUBBISH'
ozleicester Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 poor result, poor performance.. what a bout POOR FOOKING MANAGEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! edit... delusions of granduer!!! you cheeky cvnt pearson
MikeyT Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Bloody Hell, just signed on to read about our victory against Barnsley......FFS ! Ooops
New England Fox Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 I don't understand the whole "He's still trying to sort out Sven's shit team" thinking at all. While under Sven yes we weren't great but at least we were playing decent football. Sticking Nugent upfront on his own and playing hoofball isn't going to win us anything, especially at home when teams sit back and look to hit us on the break, which Barnsley did brilliantly all game I might add. Four of the midfield five today were Pearson signings and with the exception of some brief moments of pace from Dyer, they all did nothing. Oh and if it wasn't for Kasper (a Sven signing) we would have probably lost 4-1 or 5-1. I am actually not trying to defend Sven here, just trying to point out that still trying to blame Sven after hes been gone for 13 games is ridiculous. Pearson's insistence on hoofball is taking us backwards.
Pegosteve Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 NP" allusions of grandeur" spot on! You have to build success not buy it! The s**t is rising to the surface and he will sort it! But we will go through pain first and we can probably right this season off now!
ozleicester Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 I honestly cant believe what Pearson is saying... he actually says we have a poor squad?? FFS
