Kitchandro Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 We did that in the original tie, look where that got us! I'll get behind the team but don't expect me to be excited or optimistic about the game. Its gonna a miserable match, 0-0. Same old midweek football, same old city. :scarf: AT least then we might have a bit of excitement with penalties which we'll lose
vandamman Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 AT least then we might have a bit of excitement with penalties which we'll lose We should just play for the penalty shoot out, its about the only thing we have a chance of winning at the moment with Kasper in goal.
lcfcadam Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 If Forest field a striker with 2 legs then they'll score a goal, so even playing for penalties means we'll need to score at least 1 during the match
Matt Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 If Forest field a striker with 2 legs then they'll score a goal, so even playing for penalties means we'll need to score at least 1 Don't worry, only weak people feel pressure so Beckford is guarenteed to score from the spot.
Charl91 Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 Not sure if anyone has posted this, but I didn't know this interesting fact before. "the goalless draw in the original tie was the 100th competitive meeting of these East Midland Championship rivals. Each club has won 38, with 24 drawn" So beating them would be nice, just so we can say we have won against them more than they have against us!
beryllind Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 kasper Blank--Blank--Blank--Blank Blank--Blank--Blank--Blank Blank--Blank Result after extra time Blank-Blank
FuriousFox46 Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 kasper Blank--Blank--Blank--Blank Blank--Blank--Blank--Blank Blank--Blank I think Blank is cup tied...
Captain... Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 I was disappointed that NP didn't use the first leg as a chance to mix it up so I am guessing he won't for this one, but I live in hope. Kennedy and Moussa in rest Nugent Beckford up front, some academy players on the bench, make peace with SSL and give a game to prove himslef while he is still with us. I honestly don't care if we don't win, I think we will learn more from trying to change things up and benefit in the long run by knowing what we have at our disposal. If I had to I would play 442, seeing as Nigel said he wants to play 442: Kasper © Peltier----Tunchev-----SSL-----Kennedy Moussa------Danns---Abe-----Dyer Gallagher--------------- ------------Beckford Danns and Abe could potentially form a good partnership, Abe wins it and Danns drives forward with the ball, 2 wide players, I'm not sure if Moussa is really a winger but he has pace so better than Gally out there, Gally to play behind Beckford shooting from the edge of the area and playing the ball in for Beckford to run on to and score. Simple.
suffolk fox Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 I've got a bad feeling that if we lose to Forest on Tuesday, Pearson could find himself out the job. Hope so - no more pointless hoof and playing one up front - or even gallagher down the middle up front on his own with Nugent out wide as happened on Saturday 2nd half against Barnsley!
allotment-fox Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 Leicester to win 3-2 after extra time 6 booked City 14 city corners Beckford & Nugent on score sheet with Notts forest Greening own goal man of the match King att 17,442 12 forest fans cucked out for chanting anti leicester songs with a hate theme attatched
Matt Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 Leicester to win 3-2 after extra time 6 booked City 14 city corners Beckford & Nugent on score sheet with Notts forest Greening own goal man of the match King You could atleast be a little realistic.
shade Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 brilliant I fuccin love blankety blank. here's one: I wouldn't say Leicester city are BLANK but if a BLANK had another BLANK it couldn't be any BLANK than us.
Knighton Matt Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 Is Johnson even eligible under the terms of his loan? If so may as well make him earn his £25k a week for once...
dannythefox Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 I think we'll win this spawn a good cup run then draw the next three league games to go further down the table!
Cropwellfox Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 We will be shite, they will be marginally less shite, we'll be outsung, cotterill will maintain his record here, Pearson will bleat about the size of squad, balance, and this time play the fitness card. ESPN presenters will all have a smug self satisfied chat about how money a team does not make. Particularly villified will be Wellens. Happy days.
RedHux Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 I can 100% assure you that if saturday is anything to go by you will win. What will happen is this, you'll attack give the ball away and one of our defenders will kick it really really hard down the pitch. Tudgay will then chase it like a puppy chasing a stick, not get near it and you'll attack...Repeat for 90mins. At some point you will score. Then we'll kick it really really hard down the pitch....and so on.

Gold Coast Fox Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 Two teams playing very poor football... bring on the 5-4 It can only be the FA cup

If only it could be that good, this game could be the worst ever played between these two side, combined l would say there as never been a FA cup game that offers so little..

Yeh but we'll knacker ourselves out after 15, one of your hoofs upfield will luckily find one of your players due to our non-existant midfield, he'll knock it hopefully into the box and then as usual our defenders will forget what to do when the football comes near them, leaving and unmarked player to tap it in. Team spirit will be lacking from then on and sooner or later our fans will get fed up and then you know what happens.
teblin Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 kasper Blank--Blank--Blank--Koncheskey Blank--Blank--Blank--Blank Blank--Blank I'd agree now! Koncheskey has been as good as kasper, shame the rest aren't so consistent.
burni Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 hope this game proves our optimism wrong with two sides desperate to prove their worth. Kasper Peltier Mills Ledger Kennerdy (purely to rest kon as this is probably a day off for him normally ) Dyer Danns King Waghorn Nugent Beckford subds: Logan, Tunch, Abe, Gally, Kon, academy player #1#2 Squad does feel a bit small normally cant decide who to pick! not a clue what the score will be being very inconsistent. Ill be shouting for the blues behind the box

Replace Tudgay with Nugent and there you have it.
