Alexikokopops Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 I can't be the only one who read that and though "well that's a fair enough assessment"... can I? I mean, you break it down and he's said "they have better quality than Forest, but we're playing better as a team, we're playing well in the cup. Because we play a decent brand of football it's probably more conducive that we're playing a better quality team who are inconsistent" I'm not sure why people are getting their knickers in a twist
Corky Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 We're an easier passage than Forest I see. Have you actually seen them play Paolo?
Alexikokopops Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 We're an easier passage than Forest I see. Have you actually seen them play Paolo? Now I may be on 5 pints right now but does he actually say that we'll be easy to beat than Forest? The article says it but I don't see a quote from him. Please bare on mind that I am not in the soundest mind at the moment

The first bit of article stated that he believed it was easier. So my apologies to Mr Di Canio.
Saxondale Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 Propaganda? Where on earth did he get that idea from?
Dan Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 He actually makes some good points, I laughed after hearing what'd supposedly been said, but our bias is unbelievable, whilst he may not be right, there's certain parts I can understand.
Koke Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 We'll stroll pass this lot with ease. They sure do have a lot of confidence for a League Two side, so bless them. If they work hard, they can get a draw and take us back to their place. I reckon we'll piss all over them. No disrespect intended. Since Rotherham seem to be the benchmark for quality performances, didn't we put 4 past Rotherham earlier in the season or something.
Callabinho Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 We owe him one for that embarrassing swan dive he did to win a penalty in the 03-04 season!
DB11 Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 Hopefully be like League One where they'll turn up full of optimism, and get royally turned over
StanSP Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 Hopefully be like League One where they'll turn up full of optimism, and get royally turned over Didn't we draw with them? Could be wrong, mind. I'm fairly certain we didn't turn them over home or away
Itsthejoeker Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 Didn't we draw with them? Could be wrong, mind. I'm fairly certain we didn't turn them over home or away Drew home and away, I think. Away was a nightmare, 2 up then they managed to get score to in the last ten minutes. Got so much shit at school.
MANFACE Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 Swindon fans think it's a done deal.... http://www.thisisswindontownfc.co.uk/news/headlines/9476595.FA_CUP__Leicester_City_v_Nottingham_Forest/ I highly doubt it.
jonlcfc1990 Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 Swindon fans think it's a done deal.... http://www.thisisswi...tingham_Forest/ I highly doubt it. Awww bless it's nice to see a set of fans so up for it there hoping to bring up 6,000+ if thats right the atmosphere will be buzzing! So they will out support forest and they hate us more by the looks of it
Raj Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 Cant see why some of you are crying over what he says. Most of it is true anyway...we have been hot and (mostly) cold. What do you wnat him to say"oh yeah Leicester are Brill and i dont think we have a chance"??? Get a grip!
Libertine Dream Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 I hope we smash them. I might be worried if they were top but theyre not.

What do you wnat him to say"oh yeah Leicester are Brill and i dont think we have a chance"??? Get a grip! No one is crying this is just normal banter? He's trying to rally his troops and he is trying to expose our already obvious flaws this is how football works. We make a thread bring up all the memories with Swindon That game and throw in his swan dive for good measure and we all get fired up for the game. The only crying to be had here was at Wembley
Mission Unlikely Promotion Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 Looking at that Swindon website, every single Swindon fan seems to think they will turn us over which probably means they will do
jonlcfc1990 Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 Looking at that Swindon website, every single Swindon fan seems to think they will turn us over which probably means they will do I'm sure there were a lot of Southampton fans who thought they would beat us and Brighton and Derby whats different with Swindon? i'm pretty sure (well i was) that everyone on this forum expects us to win so doesn't that mean we will?
SwindonRed Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 Good Morning. Firstly Di Canio is a total nut, embarrassing at times, but we love him. The football we have produced in the last 20 odd games is of a standard much higher than Division Two. Do not take the comments made by a lot of kids of the Swindon forums as the general opinion of the result of most Swindon fans. We look forward to a good day, the traditional get there early and have a few beers and hope, and I mean hope we get a result. If we can get a draw then we may have a decent chance back at our place. Rotherham is a silly benchmark of the standard we play, surprised he used it. We have gone away to Bristol City, Exeter and Colchester and won. Thumped Huddersfield 4-1 at home and of course deservedly beat Wigan. Anyway good luck to you Leicester for the rest of the season, but not including the FA Cup of course.
hbkkids Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 Wigan winner was clearly offside and should not of stood
SwindonRed Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 Wigan winner was clearly offside and should not of stood Yes, that's football! Some you win some you lose.

That was the result where I stood up and took notice of what he was doing.
