Rusko187 Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 Shorely with him plugging the gap it should be plain sailing.
He's not bald Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 BRILLIANT... he was brilliant against us and my mate who is a Barnsley fan is gutted!! Welcome Danny to the mighty foxes Ummm... no he wasn't brilliant against us ffs, we were shocking, he played well but please don't make out he's a superstar before he's even kicked a ball or there is only one way this is going!
Brown Fox Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 This wouldn't have been a signing under Craig Ravein. I'll get me coat...
He's not bald Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 Really sorry ice started this, at this time of year it's snow joke!
Jace Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 He hasn't even played a match yet lets not wash our hands with him yet
flowwolf Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 That video made me cry laughing , it's a combo between his voice and when presses his horn so they see it coming that make me laugh so much I would have enjoyed more if further down the road this sad act would have skidded, hit a wall and both he and the laughing slag had gone through the windscreen and become road side omeletts, while the wet kids ran down and laughed at the mess.
Charl91 Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 Is he well? Looks a little pail to me. Should be a good signing, but I guess we'l have to wade and sea what happens.
Bluefoxtim Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 You know what this room says to me? Aqua. Which is French for water. It's like being inside an enormous Fox's Glacier Mint, which again, to me, is a bonus.
acooling08 Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 Hope he inspires some free flowing football.
The Padster Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 Saw an interview with him the other day, seemed a nice geyser. (null)

singaporefox Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 Hoping this is a watershed moment.... our season finally springs towards promotion. And don't think he will wet his pants when he starts his first game for us
WhiteyBFC Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 Loved reading some of the 'little' Barnsley remarks. How very amusing. Anybody would think you were a big club... It wasnt that long ago you were in a run-down ground, without a pot to piss in. Funny how a bit of success (Mickey Mouse Cup) and a foreign owner affects your opinion of yourselves. Think I will make do with the knowledge that YES we are little. And we have only been owned by Barnsley born Barnsley fans. And that we spend what we make, and play by the rules. Not so little though in terms of being the longest 2nd tier servant, ahead of who? Yep, Leicester, the "giants" of.... erm, Leicester. Another one club city like Leeds. Try being a small market town with Leeds and Sheffield to the side. Its hard work, as a football club even more so. And so to be the top club in the region AGAIN is testament to what we are all about - the ever over-achieving, true underdogs of english football. As we showed you last week. Team Barnsley Not BIG Just BETTER. . We know our role and relish it. Its my town, my team. I wouldnt have it any other way. It does sting a little though, knowing that blummin Leicester are now some kind of cash cow of english football. Losing players to Derby is bad enough, but jeez.. . As for Drinklager, he has had 2 or 3 quality games. But very few awful games if any. He's a solid, if unspectacular player, box to box, with good feet, great engine and a thunderous shot on him. He isnt as good as Perkins, although being 8 years younger he no doubt will prove to be. Anything under a million is a bargain for the lad, and nobody at Oakwell has a bad word for the kid. But, he was nothing until King Keith n Flicker got hold of him, and developed him. It will be interesting to see if he copes without em. He was pants at his other loan clubs.. I would usually say good luck to you, but the remarks about us were pathetic. And lets be fair, just a few days ago I told you the best TEAM would win. And then I read PEARSON OUT etc etc etc. Now, its 'well done NP' FICKLE.. Lets hope you dont go tits up heading for admin in a few years eh? But, no, it wont happen to you... will it? . Best of luck Drinks lad. Top player for BFC. But when we are in the Prem next year and you are Adam Hammill-ing on a midlands bench, drop us a line, we may say hi.. . (the views above are ironic, bitter, twisted, sarcy, gay and true.. probably) SERIOUSLY - Good luck to the true fans of the Foxes. No hard-feelings. We got 4 pts off you, you got a loanee. If it feels like we are the playground bully taking your dinner money then tough!! Danny is bigger than you so rather than bitch like a spoilt brat on another teams forum just try to console yourself with the fact you still have Butterfield..... until the summer anyway.

The Doctor Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 I love the descent into crap (or carp) puns, reminds me of the Westwood thread in the summer. rant I'd try to stop crying if I were you, you're gonna dehydrate yourself and then need a drink of water;
reynard Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 I hope he does well for us but I also hope we have signed him after serious consideration and proper scouting rather than as a knee jerk reaction to his performance against us. Yes he played well but we were awful. It would be a bit like forest signing one of our midfield after we beat them in the cup. Anyway good luck to him.
Stay Positive Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 He didn't quite sea it at thirst and wasn't shore until he saw the cholera money we'd offered as bait.

Finnegan Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 Barnsley fans need to grow the **** up and learn their food chain. We take their players, the Boltons of this world take ours and the Chelseas take Bolton's. That's how it is. We aren't 'giants', we aren't world beaters, Leicester ain't s metropolis and we know that. But we aren't some Yarkshuh 'market town' either. And we might have just won a mickey mouse cup but that's better than **** all and what are their Premiership credentials? Jesus. Anyone'd think they'd been robbed by Carlisle.
