VinceNoir Posted 23 January 2012 Posted 23 January 2012 Good! Never change a winning team. Especially not after that performance.
dave_the_fox Posted 23 January 2012 Posted 23 January 2012 Kept the winning side, fair play. Fingers crossed they are still a winning side in 4 hours!
MikeyT Posted 23 January 2012 Posted 23 January 2012 Team is: Schmeichel, Peltier, Konchesky, Mills©, St. Ledger, Gallagher, Dyer, Wellens, Danns, Beckford, Nugent Subs: Logan, Howard, Drinkwater, Delfouneso, Kennedy .
burni Posted 23 January 2012 Posted 23 January 2012 Same team then! fairly attacking team not that we have much other choice being down to the bare bones. comon u bluessss
dave_the_fox Posted 23 January 2012 Posted 23 January 2012 Subs: Logan, Howard, Drinkwater, Delfouneso, Kennedy
Happy Fox Posted 23 January 2012 Posted 23 January 2012 Good team expect Wellens to make way for Drinkwater in the second half and the Fonz to get a chance at some point in the game.
LCFC BEAST Posted 23 January 2012 Posted 23 January 2012 If all goes wrong bring on the Fonz and a front 3 of Beckford, Nugent & Delfounseno will tear them apart with pace!
Jace Posted 23 January 2012 Posted 23 January 2012 Think we were all expecting to be the same starting 11 at least we will have a chance to say goodbye to Richie before Snograss signs!!
MikeyT Posted 23 January 2012 Posted 23 January 2012 Damn, you beat me to it. Only just seen this thread! My bad!
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 23 January 2012 Posted 23 January 2012 Thought DD might start, but least we have Wellens...
Salieri Posted 23 January 2012 Posted 23 January 2012 Right, off to the pub. Fingers crossed for a good result!
Corky Posted 23 January 2012 Posted 23 January 2012 No surprise with the line-up, I hope we don't play for a draw from the off, let's have a go.
FrankieADZ Posted 23 January 2012 Posted 23 January 2012 im preparing for the endless sodding moaning if we lose.
jimmer Posted 23 January 2012 Posted 23 January 2012 Same performance please lads, this game will test their resolve 2-2 draw but would obviously love the win, maybe nick it 2-3 in the dying minutes
cc_star Posted 23 January 2012 Author Posted 23 January 2012 Danns & Wellens played well together, breaking that up would be less than ideal. The most important thing is that all the players play with plenty of movement & desire, it is only then that the person who pulls the strings will be able to lay the ball off to them rather than resorting to ridiculous long-balls, if we do the movement & with desire, we will get opportunities. My only fear is Peltier being out of position & Mills be pulled out to cover for him and they are more than good enough to exploit the space.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 23 January 2012 Posted 23 January 2012 Double D to come off the bench and score
Ashley Posted 23 January 2012 Posted 23 January 2012 I've gone for Jermaine Beckford FGS Leicester 2-0. 100/1.
MikeyT Posted 23 January 2012 Posted 23 January 2012 im preparing for the endless sodding moaning if we lose. Ya joking..it'll happen if we win too.
ousefox Posted 23 January 2012 Posted 23 January 2012 Have we won two in a row including cup games this season?
StanSP Posted 23 January 2012 Posted 23 January 2012 I'm scared that we'll get torn a new one tonight. But then I remember they are missing 4 key players, which gives me a little hope. My heart is saying we'll be fine!
darko2k7 Posted 23 January 2012 Posted 23 January 2012 Soton team is, Davis. Harding, Martin, Hooiveld, Fox. Cork, Hammond©, Schneiderlin, Falque. Guly, Connolly Bialkowski, Richardson, Holmes, Reeves and De Ridder
Cropwellfox Posted 23 January 2012 Posted 23 January 2012 Huge test, saints losing two in a row at home seems unlikely (don't think they have played at st Mary's since Bristol city?) - big chance for the team to show what they are about tonight.
