I get what people are saying about it being repetitive. The gang stumble upon a new walled community with a leader who is a bit of a dick, turns out things aren't as rosy as they seem, they sneak into another gated community at try and take out said leader, it probably all goes to pot, a couple of fringe characters die and things probably work out of at the end.

I think the last time I saw something really unpredictable was back in Terminus when they were almost all killed.

Still good mind :D

Exactly. It's a ruddy masochistic series where the writers are doing what they can to make Rick miserable. He's lost his wife, his best friend, his new love, his son's been shot not once but twice. At least he's kept his hand.

I am certain they're just lulling viewers into a false sense of security by making it seem like some characters are untouchable.

Just watched the latest onme. What gets me is that they seemed surprised that there were other communities setting up. It is one of the first things people would do. And why be suspicious of everyone they meet? They mat get some sort of communication set up, telephone lines etc. Surely the zombies do not eat cables. People would set up and enable the internet to give out information.

But if they did there would be no story.

If you don't know why they are so suspicious of everyone you haven't been watching closely enough...

You overthink what is a relatively simple story, Rincey.

The whole thing has more holes than your typical walker. I'd have moved to some kind of peninsular where it's easier to defend. Didn't any of them do history at school?

Yes I see it is a matter of survival and the bad guys get to take charge but I'm a trusting person and would want the type of utopia that we have missed out on now.

Well they are Americans and it is written by Americans (probably) and we all know they regard everyone as enemies and shoot first. If aliens landed they would kill all the crew but one then ask them how to develop warp drive not knowing the survivor only knows about cleaning toilets.

There's probably so much that we don't know about cleaning toilets, don't overlook that!

I was just thinking all that and no main/semi-main characters died...

...well not yet anyway.

Cracking episode proper tense as they were going through that place, it reminded me of the scene in inglorious basterds you know all hell is about to break loose but you don't know when or how.

Fantastic episode! Just what the show should be all about, tension, brutal, emotion, gore, it had it all

These last 3 episodes are leading us into some crazy stuff, I love it how Rick and the gang have got cocky and think they are the alpha group in their world and they don't realise just how powerful Negan and his group are

It's just building it up more and more till Rick and co truly know what they are dealing with

What was Morgan doing?!

Looks like he was building a jail cell? Probably wants to lock people in it to conform them like he was?

Quality episode, bloody love Jesus what a bad ass crazy that he used to be in Waterloo road :D

There's quite a few English people in the show now. Their accents are awesome.

I forgot to mention Gabriel growing some balls. I like the whole bad-ass vicar thing he's got going.

Got the one where they confront Negan to watch so don't give too much away. The last one was where they agreed to sort the problem with him out in return for supplies. What episode was that?

That was last week's. You're one episode behind.

Well is it for Rick or is it for Negan?

God knows haha, I could be wrong but my thoughts are he will suggest the idea to Rick that people can change, don't have to be killed but imprisoned instead. Rick won't have it and that may well lead to Morgan leaving the group but possibly being brought back via somekind of incident?

Yeah. Caught up now. Just making sure I was watching the right one. I have to wait over a day for the latest one.

I also watched Lucifer, Legends of Tomorrow and 11.22.63. All decent.

But you noticed how the last episode started, didn't you? Peacful cookie-baking, finding a new chum, protecting Maggie only to wind up getting caught. The producers do not tend to be original or candid about their intentions on this show, so she seems like a marked woman.

Tara

Carol

Rosita

Heath

Abraham, he's gonna try it on with Sasha get rejected, or kisses her then sacrifices himself, either way he runs off into a wall of Zombies goes down guns blazing.

Heath (black guy with dreads and glasses), because some people will care, but he's expendable.

Maggie, they don't want another pregnant/baby story line.
