Guest MattP Posted 13 August 2014 Posted 13 August 2014 Really? Nowhere near as much in it as you're making out. I agree, think Real have done slightly better business but it screams of a Sky Sports News addict to make out one has completely destroyed the other. Both have added 2/3 exceptional players to the squad and lost no one who would get in the first team. Rakitic could be the signing of the summer, probably the most underrated 'known' footballer on the planet.
purpleronnie Posted 13 August 2014 Posted 13 August 2014 It's not as if scousefox is in anyway biased towards Real Madrid.
ScouseFox Posted 13 August 2014 Posted 13 August 2014 not at all, just saying what's clear for all to see really
Stadt Posted 13 August 2014 Posted 13 August 2014 Personally reckon that the only 'definite' for next season is that La Liga will be back to being a two horse race...Cannot see Atletico sustaining a serious challenge, having had the heart ripped out of their team. Real or Barca?? Difficult choice but....having watched last night I think Real will shade it. Both teams look virtually unstoppable going forward, though Barca's defence doesn't look rock solid, even on paper!! Only concern regarding Madrid is their GK situation, seems an odd move to let Lopez go. As for Barca they need to re-invent themselves somewhat...as an increasing number of opponents have learnt to deal with 'tipi-tapi' ! Highly tempted to have a little flutter on both teams breaking the 90 points and 100 goal barriers in the 2014-15 League season! Navas will play in goal
One Legged Beaver Posted 13 August 2014 Posted 13 August 2014 Just noticed that Ji plays for Dortmund now O.o I remember him being truly awful for Sunderland!
Banks Posted 13 August 2014 Posted 13 August 2014 Absolutely flabbergasted that anyone could think Barca have done better business than Real this summer This.
Dan Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 Suarez' appeal being heard at the minute. Can see his ban being reduced.
ScouseFox Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 not reduced in terms of game time but all other sanctions (can't train, can't go the match etc) dropped. so he'll be fit from training and numerous "friendlies" that barca will no doubt organise up to the end of his ban.
MC Prussian Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 Bayern's Javi Martinez will miss the first half of the new season due to a torn muscle sustained during yesterday's Supercup encounter with Borussia Dortmund.
C-man Posted 15 August 2014 Posted 15 August 2014 Surely Marco Reus isn't joining Atleti Spanish press must be bored
Guest MattP Posted 15 August 2014 Posted 15 August 2014 Would be a superb deal if they pulled it off, I could see Dortmund allowing that as well as a big FcukU to Munich and the Spanish big boys.
Narborough_fox Posted 15 August 2014 Posted 15 August 2014 Would be a superb deal if they pulled it off, I could see Dortmund allowing that as well as a big FcukU to Munich and the Spanish big boys. That's the only reason I can see it happening as I don't think they'll want to lose him to Munich like they have done with Gotze/Lewandowski.
Ross-Kemp Posted 18 August 2014 Posted 18 August 2014 Barcelona currently playing Leon Guanajuato on sky sports 5. 1-0 after 2 minutes. Messi.
Soar Fox Posted 18 August 2014 Posted 18 August 2014 Anyone see Brandao headbutting Thiago Motta? Waited for him to come down the tunnel headbutted him and then ran off like a coward. 1
Soar Fox Posted 18 August 2014 Posted 18 August 2014 Also just to prove how much shite Fourth Official write on twitter they tried to make out it was Cavani who headbutted him.

casablancas Posted 18 August 2014 Posted 18 August 2014 Surely that's gonna have to result in jail time? Good head but granted , but no excuse for that. Coward.
purpleronnie Posted 19 August 2014 Posted 19 August 2014 Apparently he's escaped punishment It's France, they have no laws.
AKCJ Posted 19 August 2014 Posted 19 August 2014 Apparently he's escaped punishment In France they reward those who run away. 1
ScouseFox Posted 19 August 2014 Posted 19 August 2014 James bags what looks like it'll be the winner against atletico on his home debut. Not a bad start.
