I don't think they needed James either but that never stopped them.

El Shaarawy clearly isn't a poor player but I've never thought he's anything special.

He's an inconsistent Suarez.

They're both absolute dicks but they both work hard and coupled with great ability they're class players.

Funnily enough that's very much how I see Tevez.

Off to the Milan Derby tonight and looking forward to a packed out San Siro.

Went to the Atalanta Roma match last night. Was a good match that finished 2-1 to Roma. Never heard of him before but Nainggolan was fantastic. Bit of bad blood between these two sets of fans in the past so the atmosphere was hostile and wasn't helped by the Roma fans throwing flares at Atalanta.

Marco Reus is said to be out for about two months after suffering a ligament injury in Dortmund's 2-2 draw away at Paderborn - good job they have a winter break in Germany.

Nainggolan has been amazing in Strootman's absence this season, to the point where Strootman going to United wouldn't be as catastrophic as it once seemed (still wouldn't be great). A good left back in their prime needs to be top of Roma's wish list, expected to be a busy January by all accounts.

How is Cole doing at Roma and Richards at Fiorentina?
