Bert Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 i can see KP scoring. most nervous i've been this season for a game. Didn't know Kevin Pietersen signed for them.
Houdini Logic Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 Matt, I've no problem with you not wanting Gallagher in the team, it's the people who seemed to cheer when he went down injured that annoyed me. Gallagher's injured?
ScouseFox Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 Gotta admit I am loving the "Gallagher is injured, hallelujah" argument, followed by "what do you mean no Marshall?! He scored a belter at the weekend!" Gallagher scores belters every other week and everyone hates him, Marshall scores one and it's "the touch of class we've been missing all season". Defies belief.
Matt Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 Matt, I've no problem with you not wanting Gallagher in the team, it's the people who seemed to cheer when he went down injured that annoyed me. Yeah because we all know the best way to create a good team is to "get rid" and bring in new players. As for people cheering Gallagher when he picked up an injury on Sunday, they are simply the sort of fans the club don't need. They did the same to Beckford and now cheer his name now he has started to pick up form. Finally Bamba consistently poor? A bad game ever so often doesn't make him a poor player, just one that plays in the CHAMPIONSHIP. When it comes to people cheering him going off with an injury, All I am saying perhaps its because it's the only way he won't play, As much as I love Pearson if Gallagher's fit 9 times out of 10 he'll play him, if he's injured he can't play simple. Bamba consistenly poor? Maybe not, maybe I have been OTT, however I do feel quite strongly saying perhaps he isn't a poor player but it's very hard to partner him with anyone, I can't name one decent partnership he has been part off and he seems to put whoever he partners under pressure, causing them to mess up, or get him out of messing up.
Head Honcho Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 Give up, I'll take a draw at best. DRINKWATER ISNT A FVCKING WINGER Wasn't much of anything at Reading...............

Defies belief. 9 goals in 28 appearences, including 3 penalties, shows that he doens't score 'belters every week'.And one of Marshall's first opportunities and he does. Why not give him a chance, to see if he can do it week in week out? Especially as Gallagher is injured, and we have a CM playing RM.
goose2010 Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 just add to the 'drinkwater' isnt a winger arguement, wont we line up 4-3-3?? with dyer and nugent out wide, beckford through the middle ??
21st Century Fox Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 Marshall was poor against Bristol City. Hopefully he'll come on as a sub tonight once we've steadied the ship and then use his technical skills against tired legs.

I said every other week like, but yeah I was exaggerating. I was simply amused by the fact that Marshall has done literally zilch, zero, nada in his performances since he arrived, then he scores a beauty. This means he is guaranteed a start in the eyes of most. Yet if Gallagher does little else but score brilliant goals, I refer you to my signature, "scoring goals means nothing". Just merely interesting to see how the bias of some people affects their judgement and makes them look really stupid. As I said originally, yeah I'd prefer Marsh to Drinkwater out wide, he's not a winger. Annoying, but Marshall has been pretty poor in all his appearances thus far.

Wouldn't mind that, although I prefer Nuge down the middle. But if we line up as a 4-4-2 then it should be Marshall.
HitchinFox Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 Aside from a great goal at Chelsea, what HAS he done consistently to deserve a starting place? He's a young player, still learning, need to blood him slowly - same goes for Schlupp. This. He is an excellent buy for us - really pleased at how pissed off Wednesday fans were when they couldn't get him. I can see why some expected him to play today after that great goal and the inevitable confidence boost. But I like the team we're putting out today - and Marshall could still come off the bench and run at them in the second half.

Cheering when one of your own players gets injured is disgraceful, no matter what the reason.
Bettsj2 Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 THEY ARE ALL OVER YOU CITEH!! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
ScouseFox Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 Loving Stringer and Young being basically in the Leicester fans. Can hear the fans loud and clear
chavdonk Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 Wellens on the left? weird! must be the left of a 3 man midfield surely?
ScouseFox Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 Well Young has just said Danns is playing just off Beckford in a 4-5-1. Which would imply Nuge and Dyer on the wings, DD and Wellens in the middle. Can't help but think/hope he's chatting out his arse. Because that's just weird.
