Either Danns on the wing in a 4-4-2

or

4-4-3 :)

Would be ideal. Bit sneaky, probably not within the rules, but I like it.

No Gallagher though! Woohoo.

Shame it's through injury rather than choice though, because if he was fit, you know he'd be playing - And maybe that is the reason people we're cheering him off on Sunday and being happy about him picking up and injury.

Glad Bamba isn't starting too, and hope he'll be off in the summer.

Wow with fans like you who needs rival clubs. Good thing we don't have Torres in our team, you'd probably lynch him.

can someone do a radio stream tonight? :please:

someone said it's on 5 live if that's any help

Edit - looking at their site it's rather obviously Man City v Chelsea

Edit - I'll get it right soon - http://www.bbc.co.uk/5live/ our game is on radio 5 live extra

Didn't they get a lot of joy against us through the middle in the home game? Thought they looked very sharp at ours in the first half. Maybe trying to stop that happening again.

Yeh think youre right, could well be, they've got good wide players too though, either way not convinced when we've got a natural wide player on the bench if it is 442. Feels like trying to accommodate drinkwater rather than picking players for the system.

Just about to say that, but with a slight correction. It's on 5 live sports extra, so you'll need either a DAB radio or an internet connection of some sort (and I'm assuming anyone reading this has one of those.)

Sorry, must learn to be patient with players who are consistently poor, in a team that is expected to do alot more than they are doing.

It's alright if we lose tonight, i'll be patient with the players who are playing tonight, hope we don't change things and play the same team in the next game, if lose that I hope we repeat, until it finally clicks and we become successful.

Also, I appologise for having an opinion and not wanting certain players who are consistently poor in the team.

That said people are moaning about our lack of consistency, certain players have been consistenly poor if that counts?

What has Ben Marshall done to not deserve a place? Rather him than DD on the wing.

This is the debate point of the line-up really

Personally I think it's because Drinkwater can get stuck in a bit more, Marshall is more of a technical player - Perhaps he's better coming off the bench for this one

Aside from a great goal at Chelsea, what HAS he done consistently to deserve a starting place?

He's a young player, still learning, need to blood him slowly - same goes for Schlupp.

Marshall has been pretty poor in every minute he's played, bar one marvellous, yet meaningless goal last week. That's probably why he's not in the team.

Drinkwater on the wing isn't great mind, I'd have probably played Marshall, just saying shall we all try and remember (it's easily forgettable, mind) his first 5 or so performances, as well as his wonder goal.

Got a good feeling about this one. 1-3. Come on cityyyyyyy!

Drinkwater wide right not for me. Unbalanced, he'll drift inside leaving peltier exposed against their full back and winger.

Yep, looks like Drinky will be doing a Matt Oakley tonight.

Some sense, woo hoo!

Matt, I've no problem with you not wanting Gallagher in the team, it's the people who seemed to cheer when he went down injured that annoyed me.

Would you rather him or DD on the wing? His goal against Chelsea shows a touch of class that we've been lacking this season, which surely earns the chance to be developed in a start, ahead of a centre-mid pushed out wide.

Yeah because we all know the best way to create a good team is to "get rid" and bring in new players.

As for people cheering Gallagher when he picked up an injury on Sunday, they are simply the sort of fans the club don't need. They did the same to Beckford and now cheer his name now he has started to pick up form.

Finally Bamba consistently poor? A bad game every so often doesn't make him a poor player, just one that plays in the CHAMPIONSHIP.
