With Leicester? Never. But that's why we all love them isn't it?

Calling for his head is ridiculous...IMO

But, I'm gonna be honest. I, for one, thought he'd come in to replace Sven and do better than he has done, in terms of results.

But i have faith he and we are going in the right direction.

On that subject... It amazes me how people can sit at their computers and type that we have a squad of really good players, and then have literally no confidence that we are gonna win football matches. Last night was a case in point. Almost everyone felt we were gonna lose. I didn't! And I'm meant to be the 'glass half empty guy round these here parts'.. And we very nearly won.

And the supposed 'Beckford hater' also predicted that he would score last night....

The hypocrisy sometimes makes me wanna piss my pants!

Either you 'have faith' or you don't!

lol

that's going to cost you £11.37 more under Osbo's new budget.

I'm looking forward to next season already, as long as we keep our best players, sign the right players and sell the crap players.

And if we keep Pearson.

I'm not calling for his head, but his inability to sort out basic defensive problems, combined with our abysmal style of play and Pearson's apparent inability to deal with relatively 'big name' players, give me no reason to believe we'll ever get any better than we are now under no. Maybe the playoff season was all momentum.

I am really looking forward to next season.

Marshall and Drinky will be awesome next season. Beckford and Nugent will both hit 20 goals. Kasper will stay. The defence is where I'm worried, but we have good enough players to form a solid defence.

Next season, I am hoping to go to as many away games as possible (because Home games suck)

maybe we can have another god Cup run next season to offset the disappointment that the league will surely bring us.

why will they be awesome next season ?

and what good enough players do we have to form a solid defence? if we have them shouldnt our defence be better than it has??

I agree col, but when we went 3-2 up I just knew they would equalise. You did not have to be Mystic Meg to see that coming it was almost inevitable. It has been one of those season's where we took the initiative in so many matches yet surrendered the game through weak midfield and abysmal defending. Yes Mills was ( and still is ) shite but is Morgan any better ?

As yet another season draws to a close with nothing gained borrowed or lost , my eternal optimism as a city fan is as thin as Karen Carpenters tits. It just seems the hurt never ends.

Looking forward to next season, sadly yes, although if that means signing a sugar load of players who largely disapoint followed by dismal performance after dismal performance then maybe next season will even top this season as the most disapointing overblown season of unfulfilled dreams ever!!!! There again on a positive note we might actually get a team together and be competetive next season, here's hoping :)

I can't see the Championship being any less "competitive" next season either, when compared to this. Everyone is clammering to be in the Prem., teams of our stature who believe they "belong there" and this will continue to the end of time - or as long as we're in this division for! Mind you, I do believe it will be a slightly weaker league next season.

There are some weak looking Prem. sides due to come down (depending on who at this stage still). Whereas relegated Blackpool, West Ham and Brum from last season have more of a "bounce straight back" look to them as things still stand, you wouldn't think Wolves, Wigan or Bolton/QPR would possess that same kind of threat that the aforementioned three teams before them have. It depends on who fails in the play offs to go up too of course. In that regard (re who'll be in the "promotion mix" next season), I think the teams coming down will be weaker this time.....just like Hull, Burnley and Pompey were that season they all came down. The clubs who look most likely to be promoted up from League One won't possess the same threat as Southampton, Brighton or Norwich have over the last two seasons either I believe - Charlton, either or both Sheffield clubs and/or Huddersfield (most likely) are inferior teams to us. So while I still predict we still won't necessarily gain automatic promotion next season (assuming we fail to reach the promised land this season of course, as looks likely) then I think we're nailed on play off contenders for sure....if not more.......

i would hardly say those coming down are weak, and why all of a sudden are we nailed on for play offs?? we can hardly string a couple of wins together let alone storm a league..
