Why would he be swearing at all the fans? Why would people think he would? Obviously everyone jumped all over this straight away.

I'm not defending Konch but double standards seem to apply here. The powers that be insist that players behave like angels, yet the worst kind of foul and abusive behaviour among the fans is routinely tolerated.....unless of course it's racist or homophobic and suddenly a whole new set of rules applies.

In such an important game you need a mature balanced and controlled performance. His disciplinary record puts him under pressure in matches. But for the majority of the season has he done this, for the majority of the season has he had a mare. No he hasn't so shut the hell up. Konchesky is Premiership quality, and has been one of our best players this season, and probably the most consistent especially in home games. He has made some very good wingers look pretty ordinary this season.

What a tosser. Konch was one of the more commited today.

Yet they boo the team, because we lost and ain't getting in the play-offs. Who gives a massive shit anyway, we ain't good enough for the play-offs, so just take a loss on the chin and accept that this season has been poor apart from the FA Cup run. Even at home, some matches this season where the first half may have been drab but we weren't losing or anything, they still boo. Then Birmingham at home, they decide to give Mills a standing ovation when he was warming up. I really don't get some of our fans to be honest, people take things to seriously. They really need to grow up and take defeats on the chin, we are 9th not 22nd, 23rd or 24th FFS.

Sounds fair enough to me. All professional people should rise above this but we are all human and sometimes your patience is pushed to the limit. Paying whatever money does not give anyone the right to abuse anyone. That's a crap argument. I can only guess what kind of person he was aiming that at. Got a pretty good mental image of him.

I didn't say I think he did swear at all the fans, I was at work, this is the first I've heard of the incident! I'm merely saying IF he did swear at all the fans then he should be sacked! As it is I would bs extremely surprised if he had! And it's been cleared up now! It WAS just one dickhead fan who probably deserved it!
