Babylon Posted 5 July 2012 Posted 5 July 2012 Source? http://www.foxestalk...00#entry2279210 Sadly Foxes Talk posters have mass, so accelerating them to lightspeed is not possible. If you could somehow isolate their electronic 'online presence' then maybe it would work, try some of the more experienced members, they have 'gravitas' which should help. If you succeed in creating Higgs-Boson, then we can get NFP to sign him up. He is reputed to be very fast and can, naturally play on both wings at the same time, a great advantage in my view! Although yet to be confirmed, it is believed that Higgs-Boson will be able to get crosses into the box before he actually receives the ball, should cause some bother to even the best of defences. An added bonus is that you may actually create some anti-twat particles, commonly known as the 'twunt' particle, that can be used to reduce the overall 'twatishness' of this board. I'm full of 'twunt', I only have to move and 'twunt' goes everywhere.

marbelladave Posted 5 July 2012 Posted 5 July 2012 So much that I posted twice. Soz. No, you only posted it once...... The mere presence of Higgs-Boson is sufficient to distort space and time to such an extent that the same post can appear to be in two places at the same time.
Guest Posted 5 July 2012 Posted 5 July 2012 Unfortunately Marbella, I fear you may be over the heads of many. Foxestalk is one of the few places where, if you placed an average member in a box with a radioactive source,a geiger counter and a flask of poisoning that shatters when radioactivity is detected, that member would only ever be braindead.
artursteppe Posted 5 July 2012 Posted 5 July 2012 Too many people on here won't care how fast Peter Higgs ( as in Higgs Boson ) is, they won't like him 'cos he's about eighty years old. I don't care how old anybody is - if they're really really fast and they can do it, they're the right age!

Unfortunately Schrodinger has signed a new contract and will not be available this summer. For more on the application of Quantum Theory to football, I recommend 'The invisible man' thread from August 21st last year.
ozleicester Posted 5 July 2012 Posted 5 July 2012 pah... all i want to know is.. does this "higgs" fella have passsssiiooonnnnnnnnn... or does he just score

marbelladave Posted 5 July 2012 Posted 5 July 2012 Schrodinger's great - a real box-to-box guy. Only if you don't actually watch him....... Read 'The invisible man' thread, well the important bits anyway. I shall be asking questions later.
foxsake Posted 5 July 2012 Posted 5 July 2012 Only if you don't actually watch him....... Read 'The invisible man' thread, well the important bits anyway. I shall be asking questions later. I daren't! If I think I understand quantum physics then I don't understand quantum physics. Can any particle be an 'observer'? If so, Top et al will have to invest in some really tiny turnstiles..
MikeyT Posted 5 July 2012 Posted 5 July 2012 Is this thread about twitter links? Meant to be. The clue is in the thread title. But hmm.
Guest Posted 5 July 2012 Posted 5 July 2012 Actually, quantum physics lends considerable weight to the idea that our players might be "here and there and every effin where".....
foxsake Posted 5 July 2012 Posted 5 July 2012 Haha! This thread has hit maximum velocity! Mods, could you collide it with another thread to create a newsworthy event?
Kyle_Le_Don Posted 5 July 2012 Posted 5 July 2012 Don't say that it'll be removed for good this time!
Bluetintedspecs Posted 5 July 2012 Posted 5 July 2012 I think he's right, thingymijig might come, hes not bad, would be a possibility, really is he reliable?source? let's split hairs, he's got at least one good foot, he'll come back to bite us, maybe we will and maybe we won't, I'm not ITK..............................But I'll be there supporting the team
Jon25747 Posted 5 July 2012 Posted 5 July 2012 This. He's scored like 15 goals his whole career and all of a sudden he's dubbed the next future England regular. He's 19, younger than Schlupp who has scored 8. Schlupp went to Brentford on loan and Wickham moved to Sunderland for £12m yet people rim Schlupp. Mark my words, Wickham will be big.
Jon25747 Posted 5 July 2012 Posted 5 July 2012 There you go again...'no doubt' he would bag 15 goals? You seen him play much? What you basing this on? Is this the same as people had 'no doubt' Beckford would bag 20 league goals? I'd like to see Wickham here because he'd be different to the other strikers. But I have no idea whether he'd score 15 goals for us. He might, he might not I have seen him play since he was 15, he is the same age as my mate who went through Ipswich academy. He can easily get 15 goals in the Championship.
Guest Col city fan Posted 5 July 2012 Posted 5 July 2012 I have seen him play since he was 15, he is the same age as my mate who went through Ipswich academy. He can easily get 15 goals in the Championship. He scored 13 goals in 65 appearances at Ipswich and 1 goal in 15 appearances for Sunderland. He's always looked pretty ok when Ive seen him play, but his goal scoring record isn't brilliant is it. So hes not yet 'easily got 15 goals' at any level. Yes he's 19 so still very young. City need a proven goal scorer at this level IMO. And I'm hoping that Beckford is gonna be that player for the coming season.
