RonnieTodger Posted 7 June 2012 Posted 7 June 2012 *With Subs* Since the 2004/05 season we've been pretty poor apart from the first two years under Pearson and I've seen a Coventry version of it so I thought I'd see what everyone thought ours would be like. I'd go with GK - Kasper Schmeichel LB - Paul Konchesky CB - Aleksander Tunchev (That one year) CB - Nils-Eric Johansson RB - Kyle Naughton LW - Lloyd Dyer? CM - Mark Davies CM - Tom Cleverley RW - Max Gradel? ST - Yakubu ST - Matty Fryatt Subs: Ian Walker Patrick Kisnorbo Jack Hobbs Matt Oakley Richie Wellens David Connolly David Nugent
Soar Fox Posted 7 June 2012 Posted 7 June 2012 Rab Douglas RB. Alan Maybury CB. Patrick Gerrband CB. Darren Kenton LB. Ryan McGivern RM. Josh Low CM. Stephen Hughes CM. Scott Gemmill LM. Danny Tiatto CF. Elvis Hammond CF. Mark De Vries Subs Tony Warner Matt Heath Nathan Blake Peter Gilbert Momo Sylla
wolfgang amadeus Posted 7 June 2012 Posted 7 June 2012 Hard to judge some against each other especially as I can't remember the last prolific winger we had, would probably say Kasper Schmeichel Paul Konchesky Patrick Kisnorbo Jack Hobbs Kyle Naughton Andy King Mark Davies Tom Cleverley David Nugent Yakubu Matty Fryatt
LCFC FOX Posted 7 June 2012 Posted 7 June 2012 Kasper Naughton Vitor Hobbs Koncheskey Cleverly King Davies Nugent Yakubu Fryatt
Jace Posted 7 June 2012 Posted 7 June 2012 Would be so much easier thinking of a worst 11 than a best 11
AKCJ Posted 7 June 2012 Posted 7 June 2012 Schmeichel Naughton Vitor Kisnorbo Koncheskey Gradel Cleverley Davies Marshall? Yakubu Nugent

bmt Posted 7 June 2012 Posted 7 June 2012 All the abuse the yak got and now he's in everybodys team. We have had no quality on the wings, it is plain to see.
RumbleFox Posted 7 June 2012 Posted 7 June 2012 I like doing sh1t like this. I have little personailty and no life. I would have to go for: Kasper Konchesky Tunchev Hobbs Naughton King Gudjonsson Davies Dublin Yakubu Nugent Not a bad team but I tell you what, we've had some fvcking shit over the last few years eh? Better times ahead I hope. X
SaM 12 Posted 7 June 2012 Posted 7 June 2012 Would be so much easier thinking of a worst 11 than a best 11 probably would be harder actually because you've got a lot more players to choose from.
cairnsy Posted 7 June 2012 Posted 7 June 2012 Schmeical Naughton C.Davies ( thought he was unbelievable before other clubs came sniffing) Hobbs Konchesky Spearing Cleverly M.Davies Nugent Yakubu Fryatt/marshall/gradel
Corky Posted 7 June 2012 Posted 7 June 2012 Schmeichel Naughton Hobbs Vitor Konchesky King Fernandes Dyer Nugent Fryatt Yakubu
Corky Posted 7 June 2012 Posted 7 June 2012 He's got no hair but we don't care. Feel a bit guilty for leaving out Bruno (That's Berner, not Heskey).
SemperEadem Posted 7 June 2012 Posted 7 June 2012 Don't really get people putting Gradel in. Was never outstanding for us like he was for Leeds.
Guest Col city fan Posted 7 June 2012 Posted 7 June 2012 Interesting how many people have put Matty Fryatt in when they appeared more than happy when he left..... Oh and Hobbs....
Happy Fox Posted 7 June 2012 Posted 7 June 2012 Interesting how many people have put Matty Fryatt in when they appeared more than happy when he left..... Oh and Hobbs.... Fryatt was f**king awful at championship level for us, he left at the right time. Hobbs was a decent CB we should of kept on imo.
Mark_w Posted 7 June 2012 Posted 7 June 2012 Fryatt was f**king awful at championship level for us, he left at the right time. Not during his last season in the Championship, when he was in a decent side and had a few more years to develop. He has done well at Hull and if used properly he would have done the same for us. Anyway I thought you rated Beckford, it's fair to say that if Fryatt was ****ing awful in the Championship, then he has been as well.
sdb Posted 7 June 2012 Posted 7 June 2012 Would be so much easier thinking of a worst 11 than a best 11 disagree! would take forever to sort through the candidates.

You don't half talk some rubbish son... Fryatt was fookin awful!? Scored twice as many league goals for Dull this season than your mate Beckford dint he?

Just one season's judgement at this level and you come to that conclusion for Beckford? He is a decent striker if we utilize him properly but it isn't to be unfortunately.

I'm not saying that Beckford is, I'm saying that if you think Matty is then Beckford must be as well, as they've got relativley similar Championship and League One records.

Just one more goal oh I forgot cup goals mean nothing in the grand scale of things unless you win the bloody competition.
