AKCJ Posted 7 December 2012 Posted 7 December 2012 Cardiff are up, forget them. We're as good as they are.
Corky Posted 7 December 2012 Posted 7 December 2012 Blackburn were absolutely useless. We can't lose to Cardiff with them playing Peterborough next week, and we need to win tomorrow for certain.
marko Posted 7 December 2012 Posted 7 December 2012 Cardiff are up, forget them. They're far from exceptional. Tonight could have been very different. Hudson could have easily seen red for bringing down Rhodes and they hardly had a shot second half, bar Blackburn gifting then two at the end. Plus, Blackburn had a good spell where they hit the bar and a few last ditch tackles saved them.
ealingfox Posted 7 December 2012 Posted 7 December 2012 Has their summer spending (over 10 million) been mentioned at all during the commentary? Or Blackburn's for that matter, this fixture is the El Cashico of the Championship this season.
Yojoe36 Posted 7 December 2012 Posted 7 December 2012 We're as good as they are. No. We're better than them. Their back 4 is utter shite. I can see Palace ripping them apart next week
ealingfox Posted 7 December 2012 Posted 7 December 2012 Bear in mind how many times Cardiff have bottled it in recent years, no reason to suppose it might happen again.

Or Blackburn's for that matter, this fixture is the El Cashico of the Championship this season. Yet you can guarantee if we were on TV tomorrow it'd be 'big-spending Leicester this', 'big-spending Leicester that'. It's ridiculous. For what it's worth I really, really, really hope Cardiff bottle it again, I don't know what it is but I can't stand them, one of the least likeable teams around.
Simmo86 Posted 7 December 2012 Posted 7 December 2012 3 points tomorrow is a must. Need a result at Millwall really with Cardiff having Posh at home. Don't want to be going into the Cardiff home game 8 points behind!
Libertine Dream Posted 7 December 2012 Posted 7 December 2012 Its still December, not even half the season has gone, nothings decided now. If they have a nightmare of a Christmas then we're above them. Especially as theyre not even that good
Corky Posted 7 December 2012 Posted 7 December 2012 Cardiff might bottle it but we shouldn't let them get too far ahead.

Libertine Dream Posted 7 December 2012 Posted 7 December 2012 We have a tough Xmas too! They'll finish top 2 imo Granted its not easy, but they have to play Palace and ourselves. There's a lot of the season left yet, as long as we dont lose to them then theres no concern at the mo. Anybody know where Reading were this time last year?

Anybody know where Reading were this time last year? 11th, 15 points off top, with a 20 goal difference. Time for a bit of perspective.
SystonFox Posted 8 December 2012 Posted 8 December 2012 This ain't last season. We aren't Reading. Cardiff will go up as much as it pains me to say. Hate them as much as the next guy
Lamby Posted 8 December 2012 Posted 8 December 2012 Need to beat Brighton to be level on points with them.
Super_horns Posted 8 December 2012 Posted 8 December 2012 Some Blackburn fans were on Talksport suggested they prefered Kean to Berg but not sure if that was just the fickle nature of a footbaall fan! Tough game for us tomorrow against the Tigers (the football variety ofcourse!)
J.Lisemore Posted 8 December 2012 Posted 8 December 2012 Has their summer spending (over 10 million) been mentioned at all during the commentary? Or Blackburn's for that matter, this fixture is the El Cashico of the Championship this season. We're the only club that gets labelled 'big spending' I'm afraid.
Lamby Posted 8 December 2012 Posted 8 December 2012 Point was really the right result, all 3 would of been nice though. Brighton have some togetherness and fight after going a goal down it seems, good trait to have.
C-man Posted 9 December 2012 Posted 9 December 2012 Dave Jones must be gone soon. What is Miguel Llera doing? Utter moron. Thought the ref got everything right, except maybe the Madine handball.
Corky Posted 9 December 2012 Posted 9 December 2012 What is Miguel Llera doing? Utter moron. Thought the ref got everything right, except maybe the Madine handball. It was stupid, and the referee was right to disallow the goal.
Fox92 Posted 9 December 2012 Posted 9 December 2012 Hate that Llera, and what he did was totally unprofessional. Play to the referee's whistle, then have a word when the ball's out, not totally throw yourself at him. Glad he didn't allow the third goal.

Agreed , we were shoddy defence wise mind and thought you were going to snatch it at the death. anyways best for luck for the rest of the season (bar the reverse fixture)

Still rather annoying the game down there is on Tuesday 2nd instead of Easter Monday, makes it slightly harder to get back from now
