Libertine Posted 6 October 2012 Posted 6 October 2012 Will every pundit stop saying "The value of having a man on the post". Get some variety. THANKS GUYS.
Guest ttfn Posted 6 October 2012 Posted 6 October 2012 Garth Crooks is pathetic. Why have the BBC employed him for so long?
ScouseFox Posted 6 October 2012 Posted 6 October 2012 Arsenal beating West Ham 3-1. Two very good goals to take the win. A quick counter and nice finish from Walcott and then Cazorla with a bullet from 25 yards. Yet again a boss looking Arsenal end after Theo's goal, too.
Jimothy Posted 6 October 2012 Posted 6 October 2012 The Wonga Stadium http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/newsbysector/banksandfinance/9591995/Wonga-poised-for-Newcastle-sponsorship-deal.html
Jimothy Posted 6 October 2012 Posted 6 October 2012 It's about time Motson retired, ridiculously bad commentary. If you're watching MOTD, the piece of commentary where a shot hits Walcott who then back heels it to Giroud, is just pathetic for the BBC's flagship football show. He hasn't got a clue what's going on.
Jimothy Posted 7 October 2012 Posted 7 October 2012 Brad Friedel dropped for Spur's match against Villa!
21st Century Fox Posted 7 October 2012 Posted 7 October 2012 Such a shame Berbatov is out today he would have had a field day with the Saint's defense.
Kitchandro Posted 7 October 2012 Posted 7 October 2012 Lots of empty seats at Southampton again. I wonder how much they are charging? It's about time Motson retired, ridiculously bad commentary. He hasn't got a clue what's going on. Yeh I know what you mean, he's pretty senile these days. It's a shame because in his day he was far better than any commentator the BBC have now. In fact I'd say Martin Tyler is the only current one on TV who's close to how good he was.
Corky Posted 7 October 2012 Posted 7 October 2012 Baggies looking very strong at home. The move for the third goal was quality.
Northants Fox 3 Posted 7 October 2012 Posted 7 October 2012 I think they are trying to prove other players can score, since it's been Van Persie scoring since his arrival
Corky Posted 7 October 2012 Posted 7 October 2012 Stoke still seem to believe going to Anfield is something of a treacharous trip with no hope of getting even a goal, let alone a win. Liverpool have been average since 2009.
Fox92 Posted 7 October 2012 Posted 7 October 2012 That's not even funny. Twice now Liverpool should have had a penalty (it was inside the area wasn't it?) but haven't got it, probably because it is Suarez and his reputation.

Please don't tell me you're on about Facecloth's post and you think that was a penalty?
Fox92 Posted 7 October 2012 Posted 7 October 2012 Please don't tell me you're on about Facecloth's post and you think that was a penalty? Can't see it because of the quality, although I did mean in general as well.
Tom17LCFC Posted 7 October 2012 Posted 7 October 2012 Can't see it because of the quality, although I did mean in general as well. I see where you're coming from, but Suarez has brought it on himself with dives like the one Facecloth posted, so I have no sympathy when genuine penalty claims from him are turned down.
Jimothy Posted 7 October 2012 Posted 7 October 2012 Can't see it because of the quality, although I did mean in general as well. Todays was probably the worst dive in the history of the sport. Not sure why the quality is so bad for you, it looks fine for me. I said last week refs need to start reffing the game not the players as they see them. The one today against Stoke is a blatant dive. Fine book him, send him off, ban him for three games, whatever. The one last week is a stonewall penalty, whether it's Suarez or if the most honest footballer in the game. Why should the Norwich defender get away with a reckless tackle because of something that happened in another game. Suarez might be cheating little twat, but that doesn't mean he can't be fouled. I saw another gif from that game where Huth wrestled him to the ground and stood on his chest. Not sure if a foul was given, but it wouldn't shock me if it wasn't. I'll comment when I've seen MOTD2 tonight,
