ScouseFox Posted 29 September 2012 Posted 29 September 2012 Great goal on the break for Spurs. Ferdinand couldn't get near Bale. Nice finish, too. 0-2. Interesting.

Guest MattP Posted 29 September 2012 Posted 29 September 2012 How on earth is Rio still playing at this level? He's looks like a League 1 player when Vidic isn't next to him.
ScouseFox Posted 29 September 2012 Posted 29 September 2012 3 goals in 3 minutes. United pull one back, Spurs restore 2 goal lead, Kagawa gets United in it again. 2-3.
ScouseFox Posted 29 September 2012 Posted 29 September 2012 Luis Suarez has scored twice as many goals at Carrow Road (6) in 2012 as he has at his home ground Anfield (3).
Corky Posted 29 September 2012 Posted 29 September 2012 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19774393 "They gave us four minutes [injury time], that's an insult to the game. It denies you a proper chance to win a football match." What about the 90 beforehand Fergie Snr?
Guest ttfn Posted 29 September 2012 Posted 29 September 2012 http://www.bbc.co.uk...otball/19774393 What about the 90 beforehand Fergie Snr? Absolutely ****ing pathetic. United lost today because they started Giggs, Scholes and Carrick against a dynamic Spurs side. It's not like he has any other real options (Cleverley and Anderson aren't up to it), but it's his fault for not sorting a glaring flaw in this team. I said last year when people were writing United off after crashing out of the Champions League that they'd be back. As it was last year they were 30 seconds away from the Premier League title. I don't feel that way anymore. This is a team on the slide.

I don't see how it's "an insult to the game", it wasn't as though Spurs players were rolling on the floor for several minutes at a time. Four seemed about fair, and they actually played 40 seconds beyond that.
Bugg Posted 29 September 2012 Posted 29 September 2012 Didn't really think Jordi Gomez's challenge on Rose was that bad and certainly not a red card. Fletcher is looking like a good acquisition if he carries on this form for Sunderland though. Oh, and I wish Crouch would get back in the England squad soon, I don't care if he only scores against crap opposition, I think he's a great Striker.

Unabomber Posted 29 September 2012 Posted 29 September 2012 Awful decision with Gomez, it was even as if he was wary of how petty refs are atm and only went it with one foot yet still got sent off!!
Fox in the North Posted 30 September 2012 Posted 30 September 2012 If anything his body hit was worse than his foot sticking out. On demba bas first goal, take a bow!
Super_horns Posted 30 September 2012 Posted 30 September 2012 Reading fans complaining about his 2nd though but didn't seem to be a handball on purpose. As for old Fergie..well he doesn't want to be see criticising his defence which was the main reason they lost...and have let in quite a few already for them.
Jimothy Posted 30 September 2012 Posted 30 September 2012 Chris Kamara has just described Ben Davies (the Swansea left back) as not that type of player with regard to diving. How can he possibly know that after they kid has played something like 4 professional games?

Man u have yet to hit the heights this season but this early on I doubt Fergie is that bothered. Unlike other teams Man U still have the ability to win matches whilst playing rubbish for the majority of the game, which is a sign of a championship winning team. From what I saw Scholes had another great game, that said Spurs did turn Ferdinands nut sack inside out. They're definitely favorites for me to win the league with the fire power they have. The only question marks I would say is over the defense, they don't have the strength in depth there.

Man City haven't had a blistering start yet they are level with Man United, whilst Chelsea at times haven't looked too convincing and are top with 16 points. Man United are now one of three teams who are winning when not playing well.
Guest shearfox Posted 30 September 2012 Posted 30 September 2012 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19774393 What about the 90 beforehand Fergie Snr? Haha, how dear the ref blow that whistle before United get an equaliser.
