Soar Fox Posted 24 September 2012 Posted 24 September 2012 Yeh saw that. Mark Halsey was close to phoning the police after some of the threats he was getting and abuse about his illness.
purpleronnie Posted 24 September 2012 Posted 24 September 2012 Just seen United fans' chants after the game on SkySports. Appalling. Like a lot of utd fans have stated why do people assume those chants were linked to hillsborough...its hard now to seperate the issue but its very hard to damn the utd fans when people dont know exactly the link between the song and hillsborough. Cant believe sky have given it so much time...makes things worse if anything. Sometimes I just think sticks and stones........it seems the ones 'offended' are only now voicing thier opinion and you wonder how many neutrals are the ones taking the high ground and most utd and liverpool fans would just accept it as part of the rivalry and no really a big deal.
bmt Posted 24 September 2012 Posted 24 September 2012 Just seen United fans' chants after the game on SkySports. Appalling. I don't get how people missed the united fans being dicks throughout the game. The commentators kept commending how well behaved everyone was but they weren't at all, even during YNWA in the ceremony at the start. Saying that, Liverpool fans are scum so whilst nobody deserves those chants I care less than if it were another club.
accessory Posted 24 September 2012 Posted 24 September 2012 Liverpool fans booing Evra (who had been racially abused on both of his last two visits to Anfield) was pretty tasteless too.
bmt Posted 25 September 2012 Posted 25 September 2012 Liverpool fans booing Evra (who had been racially abused on both of his last two visits to Anfield) was pretty tasteless too. What was the suarez song aswell "he'll do what he wants" or something? Was that a reference to evra aswell? Bloody hate them.
Haydos Posted 25 September 2012 Posted 25 September 2012 What was the suarez song aswell "he'll do what he wants" or something? Was that a reference to evra aswell? Bloody hate them. That was United fans singing "We know what you are, we know what you are, Luis Suarez, we know what you are." I think.
bmt Posted 25 September 2012 Posted 25 September 2012 That was United fans singing "We know what you are, we know what you are, Luis Suarez, we know what you are." I think. Ahh fair play that makes sense. Detest both clubs.
Fox92 Posted 27 September 2012 Posted 27 September 2012 Alan Pardew signs new 8 year contract at Newcastle
bmt Posted 27 September 2012 Posted 27 September 2012 Alan Pardew signs new 8 year contract at Newcastle Hilarious news. I don't understand it at all.
Fox92 Posted 27 September 2012 Posted 27 September 2012 Hilarious news. I don't understand it at all. Hang on, did I say it was hilarious or funny? No. I added the blink smiley because I've never seen/heard of an 8 year contract before.
StanSP Posted 27 September 2012 Posted 27 September 2012 Hang on, did I say it was hilarious or funny? No. I added the blink smiley because I've never seen/heard of an 8 year contract before. Calm down. I think he was sharing your same bemusement about it all.
Fox92 Posted 27 September 2012 Posted 27 September 2012 Calm down. I think he was sharing your same bemusement about it all. Came over as being sarcastic
AjcW Posted 27 September 2012 Posted 27 September 2012 8 years for himself and his back room staff to be precise. The quote from Newcastle is that they want to follow the same model as Man Utd and Arsenal of stability on and off the pitch. If it work then fantastic. If not then he's laughing all the way to the bank! Win/Win for Pardew.
Jaspa Posted 27 September 2012 Posted 27 September 2012 Still think Pardew is mainly a puppet or a yes man, with Ashley and his mates pulling the strings Seems to be doing them well tho
21st Century Fox Posted 28 September 2012 Posted 28 September 2012 Apparently the cheapest general admission ticket for Arsenal v Chelsea tomorrow is £62!!!! £62!!!!! What mugs are paying that!!!
Corky Posted 28 September 2012 Posted 28 September 2012 http://www.bbc.co.uk...otball/19744028 That fine, upstanding campaigner for fair play is off on another noble cause to clean up the game. Good job none of his players do that sort of thing. Let's not forget how he reacted to Peter Crouch's handball against Manchester City: http://www.insidefutbol.com/2012/09/15/brilliant-peter-crouch-got-away-with-handball-against-manchester-city-believes-stoke-city-boss-tony-pulis/68967/
Super_horns Posted 28 September 2012 Posted 28 September 2012 Still think Pardew is mainly a puppet or a yes man, with Ashley and his mates pulling the strings Seems to be doing them well tho The head scout (Graham Carr) is the one who gets all the top players they have... Expect Liverpool to get a penalty or two plus non goal go their way tomorrow now Rodgers has made a big fuss to the head of refs.
ScouseFox Posted 29 September 2012 Posted 29 September 2012 Torres for Chelsea. Clever finish. Decent game so far, this.
Jimothy Posted 29 September 2012 Posted 29 September 2012 Arsenal are missing Diaby since he went off injured. Shame, he's a very good player, but he's made of glass. EDIT: 1-1 Gervinho
Corky Posted 29 September 2012 Posted 29 September 2012 Suarez has scored two hat-tricks at Carrow Road in five months. Liverpool winning 5-1.
